Satish is the CTO of StackRoute, an NIIT initiative to build the world’s best full-stack programmers. He is a software architect and currently focuses on technologies, architectures and engineering discipline core to Digital Transformation.
He has more than 22 years of experience in the IT Industry. He has held various technology, development and support positions. He started his career with Microland and later he was the Head of Technology for Planetasia and then Vice President of Engineering for Veloz Global Solutions, Inc.
Satish co-founded Canopus Consulting in 2007. Canopus is a software architecture consulting company. Canopus has designed the architecture for several ultra-large scale systems including Muthoot Finance's core banking system. Satish also conceptualised and led the development of EduNxt, Manipal Global Education's distance learning platform.
He is the co-founder and CEO of ilimi - an e-learning startup. Ilimi builds technology that helps identify lacunae in a learner's network of concepts and recommends appropriate recommendation. Ilimi technology is based on linked data and data science and is at the heart of the ultra-large scale learning platform at EkStep. Ilimi is now two years old and Satish has overseen the journey of taking ilimi from a 3 person idea to a 20 person organization building serious technology and with two large anchor customers.
Satish is the CTO of StackRoute, a unique bootcamp training developers to become top-class product engineers. StackRoute develops and releases Open Source technologies around emerging architectures related to stream processing, distributed events, Machine Learning and graph/linked data based architectures. Wipro Digital and Cognizant Technologies are two of the key organisations building advanced digital transformation teams at StackRoute.
He is a well sought after speaker at CSI, EDGE and other industry forums. He was featured on the cover page of CIO magazine. He has several patents and publications to his credit.
