Foundation Semester

The Foundation Semester is designed to establish a basis for a career in applications development. The “IT and Computing Fundamentals” course introduces the learners to basic functioning of computer systems and their ability to work with data and information. Basic concepts of object-orientation are also ingrained in the semester.

This track prepares students for the software engineering profession. The curriculum imparts training on enterprise frameworks like .Net and J2EE. It addresses the relevant and important technologies like XML, Web Services, EAI etc. The other key components of this track are strong application design skills (using UML), Software Testing and business processes with a comprehensive project.
