ATLANTA, Georgia (February 12, 2010) — NIIT, a global leader in Enterprise Learning Solutions,  announced today that it has been named one of Training magazine’s ‘Top 125,’ an annual ranking of organizations that stand out and excel in the field of human capital development. This is the third consecutive year that NIIT has been named to the list, and this year, the company ranked #67 on the list of 125.
Sandra R. Pruitt, Senior Director of Human Resources at NIIT (USA) Inc. says that this recognition is very meaningful to the company.  “Being recognized for the third time by Training magazine is such an honor,” she states. “Training is our business, and our commitment to providing leadership in human capital development has been key to our success in the global marketplace.”
The candidates for the Top 125 rankings are evaluated by a panel of judges from Training magazine. Each organization's ranking is based on factors including financial commitment, training programs offered, metrics measured, and methods of evaluation, etc. Other criteria for scoring include the use of workplace surveys and human resource data such as staff turnover and new employee referrals.
According to Pruitt, talent development is a driving force for NIIT, and its customers. “Talent development strategies affect so many areas of business performance,” she states. “Our clients turn to us because we’re our own toughest customer, deploying many solutions we build for them within our own system, so we know first hand the impact that NIIT solutions make. We take our role very seriously, and it’s a source of immense pride for us to help customers get the most business value from their training investments.”
