Data Science and Data Engineering Program

StackRoute helped the global boutique analytics firm train its workforce to master emerging tech and meet futuristic goals.

The Problem

Aligning the workforce to latest advancements in data analytics

As a global AI and Data Science solutions provider, Tredence is known for their vertical-first strategy across AI Consulting, Supply Chain, CX Management, MLOps, Gen AI, and Customer Analytics. From Retail to Finance, Trendence is a reliable name for creating flawless ecosystems fuelled by Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

In time, Trendence realized the need for a B2B learning partner to train existing and new hires to keep up with cutting-edge technologies. The need for the hour was a robust yet customizable curriculum to realize unique business goals using the company’s top-line talent for a competitive edge. Major areas of focus included:

    • Workforce optimization to boost deployability and billability- Only a flexible learning scenario could do justice to employees’ range of skills and versatility and boost revenue generation.
  • Seamless capability development—Whether it’s enhancing problem- solving skills or the strategic mindset of employees, capability development is a pressing priority.
  • Surpassing client expectations with top-notch delivery— The only way to foster long-standing, positive rapport with clients is to improve delivery mechanisms. A tailored training program is the precursor to enhancing delivery schedules like nothing else.
  • Accelerated onboarding – Discovering interventions aligned with project needs by prioritizing foundational and contextualized learning.

The Solution

There’s nothing that a collaboration can’t do! That’s why the StackRoute-Tredence team was formed to strategically identify skill gaps and design bespoke training solutions. This not only helped upskill the workforce but also met business objectives, keeping in line with company culture. Here’s how we designed things for success.

1. Dedicated training programs with flexible learning outcomes

Our key training programs, "Data Science for Graduates" and "Campus to Corporate” were successfully conducted over seven and two seasons, respectively. Both programs seamlessly trained seasoned professionals and fresh graduates with the advanced skills necessary to excel in today's data-centric world. Here are some key takeaways from our training programs.

  • The Campus to Corporate program infused with Athena SQL was based on learner feedback, and offered a comprehensive review of SQL basics to build a strong foundation for learners wanting to advance to complex topics.
  • In the Data Science for Graduates program, StackRoute integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts to prepare learners for the evolving demands of the data science industry.

2. Hands-on experience and contextualized case studies

The core concepts, along with hands-on training, made it a wonderful learning experience for emerging data scientists at Tredence. Besides, relevant case studies helped Tredence learners comprehend real-world challenges across specific domains, like industry examples of Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).

3. An intuitive, digital LMS for all needs

Our Learning Management System with an intuitive dashboard allowed Tredence learners to seamlessly track their progress, access study materials, and get prompt feedback, thereby setting the pace right to match different learning curves.

4. A thriving learning community

StackRoute has leveraged Slack to build a community of learners where participants can engage with like-minded professionals and mentors. It makes it easy to share insights and seek support, checking the box for a collaborative learning experience.

5. Working with an automated evaluation platform

StackRoute works with Hobbes, an automated evaluation platform that facilitates designing effective training programs for large cohorts. Minimal operational challenges with personalized feedback make Hobbes one-of-a-kind.

6. A rewarding leaderboard

Inspired by Kaggle-style competitions, our leaderboard activities foster a competitive and collaborative environment. This encouraged participants to apply their skills across group challenges.

7. Continuous content upgrades

StackRoute continuously augments training programs with additional capabilities as needed. This helps us to keep the course curriculum relevant and comprehensive. For learners, it empowers them to acquire specific skills aligned to their business needs.

8. Regular customer cadence calls

We prioritize client collaboration and transparency. That’s why participant engagement monitoring, tracking training progress, and reporting on case study outcomes are of paramount significance. We also oversee attendance and assignment completion rates, evaluate assessment scores, and address critical areas to fulfill client objectives and learner needs in tandem.

9. Customized assessment and assignment models

StackRoute customized assessment and assignment models specifically for business needs of Tredence. By tailoring assessments, we ensured accurate evaluation of learner progress and skill acquisition.
