POST GRADUATE PROGRAMIN FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEERING (SE)

DEFINITIONS
The following words and expressions shall, unless the context requiresotherwise, have the following meanings as set out below:
Assessment - means various forms of tests that are conducted toevaluate the learning outcomes for each Learner in the Program.
Attendance -means attending the Live Virtual connect sessions by alearner for a significant part of the planned duration -.
Award/Title - is the certificate conferred to a Learner in the form ofa digitally verifiable document, upon successful completion of the Program andmeeting all the required prerequisites for conferring the same.
Batch - is launched to facilitate the execution of a Program. A Batchis identified with its unique Batch Code, and its other attributes such as daysand time of execution, start and projected end date. Candidates are allocated abatch, to learn and complete the respective program.
Candidate- shall mean an individual meeting the Eligibility Criteriaof the program.
Career Guidance – shall mean the Candidates are provided support increating their online portfolio, LinkedIn profiling and soft skill workshop.
Certificate is the digitally verifiable document issued to the Learnerupon completing the Program and meeting the required prerequisites asapplicable for completion of the said Program.
Credential- shall include all the documents certifying the age,address, degree certificate etc. obtained by the Candidate. The Candidate shallbe required to produce the original of the Credentials if required by NIIT orthe Prospective Employer.
Eligibility Criteria- shall mean the eligibility criteria that theCandidate must meet before he/she applies for the program
Learner - shall mean the Candidate who has taken admission in the saidprogram at NIIT as per the admission criteria and evaluation process.
Learning Portal- Learners will be able to access the needful resourcesat the Learning Portal or Learning Management System (LMS) after enrollment.Learners access to the Learning Portal will be governed by the terms andconditions, which are available on the Portal.
NIIT – shall mean NIIT Ltd, having its registered office at Plot No.85, Sector, Institutional Area, Gurugram (Haryana) India
NIRF – National Institutional Ranking Framework. Ministry ofEducation, Govt. of India releases the National ranking of Engineering Collegesevery year. Refer to the latest ranking list on the NIRF website using thislink https://www.nirfindia.org/2021/EngineeringRanking.html
Offer Letter- shall mean a letter issued by a Prospective Employeroffering gainful engagement/employment to the Learner to join theirorganization from a particular date and for a particular position.
Payment Option – shall mean any of the opted Payment plans asmentioned on the program page of the NIIT website.
Placement- shall mean the offer of engagement/employment from aProspective Employer by issuing an Offer Letter.
Placement Assurance- shall mean the guarantee of Placement to theCandidate who has duly complied with the mentioned Terms Conditions.
Placement Assistance – shall mean providing up to a maximum of 3selection opportunities to the Candidates who have duly complied with thementioned Terms Conditions.
Procedure- shall mean the procedure to be followed by the Candidatefor his/her Placement.
Program- shall mean the program mentioned in the applicability sectionfor which the Learner has taken admission at NIIT.
Program Fee - shall mean the total fee for the program payable by theLearner for the services opted with the program, including Admission, TuitionFee, Placement Fee, and Funding Charges (if applicable). Applicable taxes to bepaid on and above the Program Fee.
Prospective Employer- shall mean the third-party organization who mayissue the Offer Letter to the Candidate for his/her Placement.
StackRoute – shall mean StackRoute (An NIIT initiative). StackRoute isa division of NIIT that runs programs to produce top-class full-stack engineersand tech professionals with deep skills.
APPLICABILITY
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) shall apply to the Learner ofthe Post Graduate Program in Full Stack Software Engineering (PGP FSSE).The enrolled Learner is bound by the rules, regulations, timings,administrative procedures and discipline requirements as applicable and mustnecessarily comply with the program guidelines.
PROGRAM ADMISSION
The candidate needs to apply for the program by filling out the onlineapplication form on www.niit.com/India. It is implied that theCandidate is fully aware of the eligibility requirements and program detailsmentioned on the website and then applying.
The Candidate needs to submit/upload the scanned copies of the followingdocuments and produce the originals for verification when required.
1. Date of Birth:10th certificate/ Passport
2. Academic Performance:Mark Sheet and/or Certificates of Class 10th, 12th,Graduation, Post-Graduation (If applicable)
3. Work experience (Ifapplicable): Last salary slips, appointment letter relieving letter
4. Identity: PAN Card
In the event of non-submission and/or being unable to produce theoriginals and/or discrepancy in the documents/information furnished by theCandidate, the admission will be withheld/canceled anytime at the solediscretion of NIIT with no refund of the fee paid.
Selection to the program is based on the performance in the AdmissionTest (which may include Aptitude Test, Language Test, Programming Test,Personal Interview, etc.,).
Selected Candidates will receive the Admission Selection Letter byemail, post which they would need to pay the applicable program fee on/orbefore the last date mentioned in the letter.
The admission selection letter is not transferable and does notguarantee the seat unless the registration formalities are completed within thelast date mentioned in the letter or before the admissions are closed for thebatch whichever is earlier.
The registration is for a specific Program and for a specific batch witha defined delivery schedule only. Therefore, the admission is valid for thespecific program and batch and period. The candidate is expected to completethe program as per the batch schedule within this period.
Due to unavoidable reasons if the batch start date is revised to a laterdate or advanced, the admission validity period will be revised accordingly.Candidates will be informed through email about the change in the batch startdate. Any candidate having an objection to the revised schedule may writeto CustomerCareDigital@niit.com within7 days or before the revised batch start whichever is earlier and discussalternate options, which may include cancellation of admission. NIIT will notbe responsible for any financial damages/claims due to such changes.
Candidates would not be able to take a break from the program or deferthe admission to a later batch, once the batch has started. For any unavoidablereasons, if the batch has to be changed as per the candidates requirement, thecandidate may have to pay the applicable convenience charges. In case of abatch change, the days and timings of the new batch may be different from thecurrent batch and NIIT does not guarantee the same batch schedule.
FOREIGN NATIONALS
Admission to NIIT programs is open for learners residing in India only.
Foreign nationals residing in India seeking admission need to upload/email a copy of the Valid Passport, Valid Student Visa for staying andstudying in India, Valid registration with FRRO, and residential address proofto CustomerCareDigital@niit.com.
If placement service (Job Assurance / Placement Assistance) is a part ofthe program offering, then for foreign nationals, the placement service issubject to the recruiting organizations acceptance and the candidate having avalid work visa. NIIT is not responsible to arrange a work visa, or any otherrequirements related to the learners placement, and the Learner will not beeligible for any refund of the program fee.
In case of any cancellation of the admission, the refund amount (ifapplicable) will be refunded to the same source account through which theinitial fee has been paid.
The onus of having all the valid documents, submitting the copies of thesame to NIIT, and producing the originals on demand, lies solely with thecandidate. Noncompliance of the same shall lead to legal consequences as perlaw.
LOAN FACILITY
NIIT, in the best interest of the Candidates, has enabled loan facilitiesin the association through 3rd party Finance Companies(Lender). The Loan approval will be subject to the Learner's meeting theeligibility as determined by the Lender. The loan facility is applicable forselect programs only.
Availing the loan through the Lender is optional and is a personalchoice of the candidate. Candidates can also register in the program by payingthe full program fee without availing of the loan or can avail loan from anyother source.
Candidates availing of the loan should familiarize themselves with allthe terms and conditions (such as the interest rates, EMI amount, moratoriumperiod, foreclosure, etc.,) applicable from the Lender before availing of theloan. The loan agreement is between the Candidate and the Lender and NIIT hasno role in the Loan Process.
Candidates availing of the loan, need to pay the applicablenon-refundable booking fee to NIIT within the due date as mentioned in theAdmission selection letter to reserve the seat in the selected batch.
Balance program fees are to be paid after the loan is processed.Registration to the program is confirmed only on payment of the full programfees.
If there is any delay in the loan process, and the registrationformalities are not completed before the last date of admission for the batch,then the Candidate will be accommodated in the next available batch at the timeof registration. NIIT will not be responsible for any delay in either loanprocessing or loan disbursement.
If the Candidates loan application is not approved, then the Candidatecan pay the balance program fee and register for the program. If the candidateis not able to pay the requisite fee, then he/she can apply for a refund of thebooking fee. The Refund will be processed within 10 working days and the amountwill be credited to the Candidates bank account. The refund of the booking feeis only possible if the loan is rejected by the Lender and not if the Candidatewants to withdraw the admission offer.
Candidates availing of loan, need to pay applicable loan processing feeto the Lender at the time of loan approval. Candidates should pay their LoanEMIs directly to the Lender.
For Loan closure or cancellation of a loan application, or any disputerelated to the loan, the candidate is required to contact the Lender directlyand NIIT has no role in the same.
REGISTRATIONCANCELLATION / REFUNDS
The Booking amount paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited if theregistration process is not completed within the due date.
The Learner can cancel the registration or withdraw from the Program atany time.
If the cancellation request is submitted up to one day before the batchstart date, the Learner is entitled to a full refund after deducting thenon-refundable fee, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes.
If the cancellation request is submitted on or after the batch startdate (even if the candidate did not attend any sessions and or did not avail ofany services), there will be no refund applicable.
If the cancellation of registration is due to delay/revision in startingthe batch (program) from the scheduled start date or the batch/program iscanceled, then the Learner will be eligible for a full program fee refund.
If the Learner decides to discontinue the program after the batch hasstarted, there will be no refund of the program fee already paid. If theLearner has availed any loan towards the program fee, the learner will carrythe liability of repaying the full loan amount. If the Learner wants toforeclose the loan or changes in the loan repayment terms, the Learner shouldcontact the lender directly.
For Learners with Placement Assurance, subject to the Learner completingthe program successfully and meeting all the Placement requirements, If NIIT isnot able to provide a Job offer (Only applicable for Learners with PlacementAssurance) for the Learner within 90 days of the program completion as per therequirements, then NIIT will refund the program fee paid by the Learner afterretaining the non-refundable fee component (booking amount) and any othergateway charges with applicable taxes.
If the Learner is eligible for any refund and the Learner has availedthe loan facility, then the refund amount will be paid to the Learner aftersettling the outstanding loan amount with the Lender. Any refund to the Learnerwill be made to the Learners bank account only.
There will be no refund on cancellation of registration due todisciplinary action initiated against the Learner.
PROGRAM PEDAGOGY
The program pedagogy follows an outcome-driven, practitioner-designed,immersive methodology.
The unique learning cycle Learn → Practice → Apply → Review → Refactorhelps learners to learn from correcting their mistakes.
The Program ensures that the learner acquires the required skills. NIITbelieves by completing all activities as per the program design; everyindividual learner will acquire the necessary skills to be job ready.
All materials referred during the program are digital contents and code.During the program duration, learners will have access to the platform toaccess the digital contents.
All Digital contents access provided by NIIT is strictly for the use ofthe Learner during the program only and cannot be copied or replicated orelectronically transmitted or misused in any manner.
The medium of instruction in the program will be in English only.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Learners should abide by the programs academic milestones and all otherguidelines governing the execution and completion of the program. The Learnerundertakes to put in his best effort towards improving skills and knowledge bylearning from the registered program.
The program is designed to be completed within the duration mentioned inhours. The Calendar time in weeks is for reference purposes only. Actualduration is based on the Batch schedule such as Duration of the Sessions, No.of sessions in a Week, other planned / unplanned holidays during the period.Learners should refer to the Batch Schedule available in Learning ManagementSystem.
Since the program is outcome-driven, the Learner will not be able tomove ahead in the program until he/she completes the assignments. Therefore,the actual duration of the program would depend on the individual Learnersparticipative interest, involvement, and timely completion of theassignments/challenges.
If the Learner is not able to show progress as per the batch schedule,then in the interest of the learner, NIIT may be compelled to transfer theLearner to another batch or schedule remedial sessions for effective learning.Under such a situation, there might be a repetition of the previous sessionsand the planned end date of the program will be revised as per the new batchschedule. Any implications on EMIs towards the loan repayment or moratoriumperiod due to delay in completion of the program will be the Learnersresponsibility only.
The Learner must honor the financial obligation even if he/she decidesto discontinue the program at any time.
Learners who would need to change the batch, for not keeping pace withthe current batch may have to pay the applicable batch transfer conveniencecharges.
ASSESSMENTS
The Learner has to participate and complete all the assignments,assessments, and project work successfully. This may include but is not limitedto – quizzes, practice assignments, challenges, summative assignments,time-bound assignments, group discussions, and peer reviews.
CERTIFICATION
The Learner will be awarded a Certificate, on successful completion ofall assignments, assessments, and project work of the program.
The Learner has to be a Graduate to be awarded the Program CompletionCertificate.
Learners who do not clear the assessments/assignments and have not metthe attendance requirements will not receive any certificate.
A digitally verifiable certificate will be provided to the Learners,within days of the completion of the program.
PLACEMENT
This program comes with three different Placement Services and isapplicable to the Learners as per the criteria and other rules mentioned below:

Placement Assistance is applicable for Learners notpart of Placement Assurance and meeting the below criteria (the below criteriaoverrule and are applicable for all learners irrespective of their GraduationCollege and Academic performance)
- Learner age is >= 25 and less than 28 years
- Learner who has not cleared or not appeared in the Cocubes exam
Career Guidance is applicable for all Learners whose age is> 28 years
Other rules which will apply for all:
The Learners admission must be within the Program defined Admissionnorms.
The Learner must have successfully completed the program.
The Learner must have 100% Attendance in the Placement EngagementSessions.
The Learner shall create, update, maintain and share his/herprofile/portfolio through the digital platforms (such as LinkedIn, GitHub, etc)to NIIT, as required for the Placement services.
The Learner is expected to co-operate with NIITs placement process inits entirety.
The Learner shall maintain high standards of integrity, attendance,punctuality, regularity, and participate in the placement process.
NIIT shall provide adequate opportunities to the Learner to prepare andappear for the Interviews and other selection processes, to secure a placement.
The Learner shall regularly attend the placement preparation modules,client briefing sessions, and any other sessions as applicable.
The Learner shall attend the placement selection process (written test,Interviews, any other stages), anytime and anywhere in India as conducted bythe Prospective employer at the Learners own cost (if so required).
The placement provided will be anywhere in India. The Learner shall beready to relocate at their own cost to any location as may be offered by theProspective employer.
The Learner shall be provided with Placement opportunities based ontheir technical skills, personality attributes, academic performance, etc. thatwill match with the Prospective Employers requirements. Job opportunities inOrganizations having high cut-off criteria in academic performance will beoffered to only those Learners who will meet the criteria.
Placement will be according to the terms of employment as laid down bythe Prospective Employer and the Learner has to abide by the same.
The Learner shall be provided with the Placement Services within 90 daysof successful completion of the program.
NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regardingPlacement Service towards a Learner under the following circumstances
i. ForPlacement Assurance:
- If the Learner has received at least one offer letter with minimum CTC or higher as applicable for the program, from a Prospective Employer
- If the Learner accepts a placement offer from the Prospective Employer even if it is lower than the minimum CTC, considering various other advantages of the employment offer
ii. ForPlacement Assistance:
- If the Learner has received at least one offer letter as applicable for the program, from a Prospective Employer
- If the Learner has been provided with up to a maximum of three selection opportunities, irrespective of the Learner has availed the same or not
iii. ForCareer Guidance Support:
- NIIT will organize workshops/sessions on the creation of an online portfolio, LinkedIn profiling, and soft skills for each batch. Learners are informed about the schedule of these events through email. It is the responsibility of the Learners to attend these workshops/sessions and benefit from the same. Once the schedule is communicated to the Learners and the sessions are conducted, the service is considered as delivered irrespective of the Learners attendance or not. There will be no repeat of any of these sessions
iv. Ifthe Learner voluntarily discontinues from the placement services
Non-participation or any other act of non-cooperation with NIIT or withthe Partner Organizations Selection/Placement process shall lead to thewithdrawal of the Placement services on disciplinary grounds, at NIITs soleand absolute discretion.
For Learners with foreign nationality, the placement service will besubject to the prospective employer accepting the profile and sponsoring thenecessary work visa. NIIT will not guarantee placement assurance or assistancefor foreign nationals.
The learner will not be entitled to any refund (for Learners withPlacement Assurance only) once NIIT has deemed to have discharged itsobligations regarding Placement Services towards the Learner under any of theabove circumstances, including Learner being expelled on disciplinary grounds.
DIGITAL DEVICES
The Learner needs to have their own desktop or laptop computer (referto www.niit.com forrequisite configuration), Webcam, Headset with echo cancellation mic, broadbandInternet connectivity with a minimum of 20 MBPS, and Uninterrupted power supplyto join this program.
Registration to the Program implies that the Learner has the requisiteinfrastructure as per the details mentioned in the product webpage/ Programbrochure. Not having the requisite hardware and connectivity will affect thelearning.
The Learner is responsible to arrange their own resources(hardware/software/connectivity) as required to attend the Program.
The Learner is fully responsible for the proper functioning of thecomputer hardware and internet access.
NIIT is not responsible for the charges incurred for the usage ofhardware, software, or internet services provider fees.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of anyhardware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is notresponsible for the same.
SOFTWARE
NIIT will only provide the details of the software required for theProgram. It will be the responsibility of the Learners to arrange for thenecessary open-source or licensed software and install it on their devices. Nothaving the requisite software will affect the learning.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of anysoftware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is notresponsible for the same.
LEARNING MANAGEMENTSYSTEM (LMS)
As part of the program, NIIT will provide access to the online LMSthrough www.niit.com portal.
The LMS will have the facility to attend online sessions, access todigital learning materials, session recordings, assignments, learning plans asapplicable for the program.
The access to the LMS will be for the period of program completion only.
COMMUNICATION
To keep the Learner informed and updated about the learning, and otherservices, NIIT may communicate with the Learner through anyone/or all possiblemedium such as SMS/Call (@registered mobile number), email (@registeredemail-ID), or by post (@residential address) or message on LMS.
All such communications sent to the Learner are considered acknowledgedand read.
It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in theirdetails, by writing to the helpdesk CustomerCareDigital@niit.com.
Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program atNIIT, they have given the consent to NIIT to use their personal informationwhich includes mobile number, email id, and residential address forcommunicating with them at present and in the future as well.
Learner confirms that laws in relation to the unsolicited communicationreferred in National Do Not Call Registry (the "NDNC Registry") aslaid down by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will not be applicable forsuch communication, calls, SMS received from NIIT, its employees, agents and/orassociates.
For any grievances, the Learner may write to CustomerCareDigital@niit.com.
DISCIPLINE
Learners are required to adhere to the norms of discipline and decorumduring the Online Sessions. Non-adherence to the same may result in consequentialpenal action, which may even include cancellation of Admission.
Any Learner who is found using unfair means during online examinations,or while doing hands-on assignments and assessments, by indulging in activitieslike copying, discussions, using technology-based instruments, or other meansto cheat, will be debarred from the further continuation of the Program.
There will be Zero tolerance towards any form of copying. If there iseven a small doubt about copying, the mentor may decide not to evaluate theassignments submitted. Mentors decision is final in cases of plagiarism.
Indiscipline shall include, but not be limited to misbehavior, nuisance,brawl, use of foul language in the online chat forums, posting objectionablematerial in the Learning Management System (LMS), use of unfair means at thetime of assessments, being drunk, having consumed narcotics substances, andindulging in any act or omission which amounts to discouraging / demeaning/hampering the program structure during the Online Sessions.
NIIT expects the Learner to resolve all matters relating to the enrolledprogram, delivery, fees, scholarship (if any) and placement; directly with NIITdesignated officer. Any attempt to bring any outside influence directly/orindirectly – upon any NIIT authority or NIIT Partner Organization (if any) tofurther impact Learners interests, in respect of matters pertaining to theassociation with NIIT and NIIT Services with any Partner Organization; wouldamount to a breach of admission contract and academic norms. It would lead todebarring the Learner from availing further services from NIIT and thus willlead to initiation of appropriate action.
During the course of Learners association with NIIT, the Learner willnot take part in any demonstration/agitation against NIIT and its officialsfor/or on behalf of any external bodies/political outfits – either as a memberor a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above, would be treated asprejudicial to the interest and reputation of the institute leading to theinitiation of appropriate action.
NIIT expects the Learner to notify NIIT officials immediately with thepast and current details of any civil or criminal case(s) instituted againstthe Learner in any Court of Law or any complaint / show cause notice /prosecution with/by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, as alsothe Learner will notify any outcome of such complaint to NIIT in writing. Anyact in breach of this term or suppression of facts would entail initiation ofappropriate action as deemed fit by NIIT/Partner Organization.
PRIVACY POLICY
Learners are also supposed to abide by the privacy policy, the terms andconditions mentioned in the LMS, and NIIT Student App at all times. Anyunethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation ofadmission and forfeiture of the Program fee.
GENDER SENSITIZATION
NIIT does not discriminate or encourage any kind of sexual harassment ofwomen employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealtwith, as per the law.
MEDICAL FITNESS
Candidates enrolling in the program, confirms the understanding thatthis program is being offered through Online admission and the training isdelivered online, and they are medically fit to undergo the same without anyconstraints.
Since the program is backed with Placement Assurance, the placement ofthe candidate post completing the program successfully is subject to thecandidate clearing the medical fitness requirements of the recruitingorganization.
If the candidate is unable to clear/satisfy the medical requirements,NIIT will not be responsible for the placement of the candidate and there willbe no refund of the program fee. In such cases, NIIT shall be deemed to havedischarged its obligations towards the learners placement.
AMENDMENTS
NIIT reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw or substitute any ofthe terms and conditions without any prior notice.
The changes may be necessitated due to NIITs focus on continuousimprovement of the processes and services, research and development in themethodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements, andstatutory compliances.
All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section ofthe LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.
The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.
LEARNERS UNDERTAKING
The candidate understands that the application form is to be filled bythemselves only and they are responsible for the correctness and completenessof the information provided including the supporting documentsuploaded/submitted. The candidate also understands and agrees that, if thedetails provided are found to be incorrect / misrepresented at any time, theadmission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the fees paid.
A Candidate paying the requisite program fee and registered for theprogram confirms that the Candidate / Learner has read, understood, andagreed to all the terms and conditions as mentioned in this document www.niit.com websiteand has not relied on any other oral representation by the NIIT team or any 3rd party.

Certificate is the digitally verifiable document issued to the Learnerupon completing the Program and meeting the required prerequisites asapplicable for completion of the said Program.
Credential- shall include all the documents certifying the age,address, degree certificate etc. obtained by the Candidate. The Candidate shallbe required to produce the original of the Credentials if required by NIIT orthe Prospective Employer.
Eligibility Criteria- shall mean the eligibility criteria that theCandidate must meet before he/she applies for the program
Learner - shall mean the Candidate who has taken admission in the saidprogram at NIIT as per the admission criteria and evaluation process.
Learning Portal- Learners will be able to access the needful resourcesat the Learning Portal or Learning Management System (LMS) after enrollment.Learners access to the Learning Portal will be governed by the terms andconditions, which are available on the Portal.
NIIT – shall mean NIIT Ltd, having its registered office at Plot No.85, Sector, Institutional Area, Gurugram (Haryana) India
NIRF – National Institutional Ranking Framework. Ministry ofEducation, Govt. of India releases the National ranking of Engineering Collegesevery year. Refer to the latest ranking list on the NIRF website using thislink https://www.nirfindia.org/2021/EngineeringRanking.html
Offer Letter- shall mean a letter issued by a Prospective Employeroffering gainful engagement/employment to the Learner to join theirorganization from a particular date and for a particular position.
Payment Option – shall mean any of the opted Payment plans asmentioned on the program page of the NIIT website.
Placement- shall mean the offer of engagement/employment from aProspective Employer by issuing an Offer Letter.
Placement Assurance- shall mean the guarantee of Placement to theCandidate who has duly complied with the mentioned Terms Conditions.
Placement Assistance – shall mean providing up to a maximum of 3selection opportunities to the Candidates who have duly complied with thementioned Terms Conditions.
Procedure- shall mean the procedure to be followed by the Candidatefor his/her Placement.
Program- shall mean the program mentioned in the applicability sectionfor which the Learner has taken admission at NIIT.
Program Fee - shall mean the total fee for the program payable by theLearner for the services opted with the program, including Admission, TuitionFee, Placement Fee, and Funding Charges (if applicable). Applicable taxes to bepaid on and above the Program Fee.
Prospective Employer- shall mean the third-party organization who mayissue the Offer Letter to the Candidate for his/her Placement.
StackRoute – shall mean StackRoute (An NIIT initiative). StackRoute isa division of NIIT that runs programs to produce top-class full-stack engineersand tech professionals with deep skills.
APPLICABILITY
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) shall apply to the Learner ofthe Post Graduate Program in Full Stack Software Engineering (PGP FSSE).The enrolled Learner is bound by the rules, regulations, timings,administrative procedures and discipline requirements as applicable and mustnecessarily comply with the program guidelines.
PROGRAM ADMISSION
The candidate needs to apply for the program by filling out the onlineapplication form on www.niit.com/India. It is implied that theCandidate is fully aware of the eligibility requirements and program detailsmentioned on the website and then applying.
The Candidate needs to submit/upload the scanned copies of the followingdocuments and produce the originals for verification when required.
1. Date of Birth:10th certificate/ Passport
2. Academic Performance:Mark Sheet and/or Certificates of Class 10th, 12th,Graduation, Post-Graduation (If applicable)
3. Work experience (Ifapplicable): Last salary slips, appointment letter relieving letter
4. Identity: PAN Card
In the event of non-submission and/or being unable to produce theoriginals and/or discrepancy in the documents/information furnished by theCandidate, the admission will be withheld/canceled anytime at the solediscretion of NIIT with no refund of the fee paid.
Selection to the program is based on the performance in the AdmissionTest (which may include Aptitude Test, Language Test, Programming Test,Personal Interview, etc.,).
Selected Candidates will receive the Admission Selection Letter byemail, post which they would need to pay the applicable program fee on/orbefore the last date mentioned in the letter.
The admission selection letter is not transferable and does notguarantee the seat unless the registration formalities are completed within thelast date mentioned in the letter or before the admissions are closed for thebatch whichever is earlier.
The registration is for a specific Program and for a specific batch witha defined delivery schedule only. Therefore, the admission is valid for thespecific program and batch and period. The candidate is expected to completethe program as per the batch schedule within this period.
Due to unavoidable reasons if the batch start date is revised to a laterdate or advanced, the admission validity period will be revised accordingly.Candidates will be informed through email about the change in the batch startdate. Any candidate having an objection to the revised schedule may writeto CustomerCareDigital@niit.com within7 days or before the revised batch start whichever is earlier and discussalternate options, which may include cancellation of admission. NIIT will notbe responsible for any financial damages/claims due to such changes.
Candidates would not be able to take a break from the program or deferthe admission to a later batch, once the batch has started. For any unavoidablereasons, if the batch has to be changed as per the candidates requirement, thecandidate may have to pay the applicable convenience charges. In case of abatch change, the days and timings of the new batch may be different from thecurrent batch and NIIT does not guarantee the same batch schedule.
FOREIGN NATIONALS
Admission to NIIT programs is open for learners residing in India only.
Foreign nationals residing in India seeking admission need to upload/email a copy of the Valid Passport, Valid Student Visa for staying andstudying in India, Valid registration with FRRO, and residential address proofto CustomerCareDigital@niit.com.
If placement service (Job Assurance / Placement Assistance) is a part ofthe program offering, then for foreign nationals, the placement service issubject to the recruiting organizations acceptance and the candidate having avalid work visa. NIIT is not responsible to arrange a work visa, or any otherrequirements related to the learners placement, and the Learner will not beeligible for any refund of the program fee.
In case of any cancellation of the admission, the refund amount (ifapplicable) will be refunded to the same source account through which theinitial fee has been paid.
The onus of having all the valid documents, submitting the copies of thesame to NIIT, and producing the originals on demand, lies solely with thecandidate. Noncompliance of the same shall lead to legal consequences as perlaw.
LOAN FACILITY
NIIT, in the best interest of the Candidates, has enabled loan facilitiesin the association through 3rd party Finance Companies(Lender). The Loan approval will be subject to the Learner's meeting theeligibility as determined by the Lender. The loan facility is applicable forselect programs only.
Availing the loan through the Lender is optional and is a personalchoice of the candidate. Candidates can also register in the program by payingthe full program fee without availing of the loan or can avail loan from anyother source.
Candidates availing of the loan should familiarize themselves with allthe terms and conditions (such as the interest rates, EMI amount, moratoriumperiod, foreclosure, etc.,) applicable from the Lender before availing of theloan. The loan agreement is between the Candidate and the Lender and NIIT hasno role in the Loan Process.
Candidates availing of the loan, need to pay the applicablenon-refundable booking fee to NIIT within the due date as mentioned in theAdmission selection letter to reserve the seat in the selected batch.
Balance program fees are to be paid after the loan is processed.Registration to the program is confirmed only on payment of the full programfees.
If there is any delay in the loan process, and the registrationformalities are not completed before the last date of admission for the batch,then the Candidate will be accommodated in the next available batch at the timeof registration. NIIT will not be responsible for any delay in either loanprocessing or loan disbursement.
If the Candidates loan application is not approved, then the Candidatecan pay the balance program fee and register for the program. If the candidateis not able to pay the requisite fee, then he/she can apply for a refund of thebooking fee. The Refund will be processed within 10 working days and the amountwill be credited to the Candidates bank account. The refund of the booking feeis only possible if the loan is rejected by the Lender and not if the Candidatewants to withdraw the admission offer.
Candidates availing of loan, need to pay applicable loan processing feeto the Lender at the time of loan approval. Candidates should pay their LoanEMIs directly to the Lender.
For Loan closure or cancellation of a loan application, or any disputerelated to the loan, the candidate is required to contact the Lender directlyand NIIT has no role in the same.
REGISTRATIONCANCELLATION / REFUNDS
The Booking amount paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited if theregistration process is not completed within the due date.
The Learner can cancel the registration or withdraw from the Program atany time.
If the cancellation request is submitted up to one day before the batchstart date, the Learner is entitled to a full refund after deducting thenon-refundable fee, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes.
If the cancellation request is submitted on or after the batch startdate (even if the candidate did not attend any sessions and or did not avail ofany services), there will be no refund applicable.
If the cancellation of registration is due to delay/revision in startingthe batch (program) from the scheduled start date or the batch/program iscanceled, then the Learner will be eligible for a full program fee refund.
If the Learner decides to discontinue the program after the batch hasstarted, there will be no refund of the program fee already paid. If theLearner has availed any loan towards the program fee, the learner will carrythe liability of repaying the full loan amount. If the Learner wants toforeclose the loan or changes in the loan repayment terms, the Learner shouldcontact the lender directly.
For Learners with Placement Assurance, subject to the Learner completingthe program successfully and meeting all the Placement requirements, If NIIT isnot able to provide a Job offer (Only applicable for Learners with PlacementAssurance) for the Learner within 90 days of the program completion as per therequirements, then NIIT will refund the program fee paid by the Learner afterretaining the non-refundable fee component (booking amount) and any othergateway charges with applicable taxes.
If the Learner is eligible for any refund and the Learner has availedthe loan facility, then the refund amount will be paid to the Learner aftersettling the outstanding loan amount with the Lender. Any refund to the Learnerwill be made to the Learners bank account only.
There will be no refund on cancellation of registration due todisciplinary action initiated against the Learner.
PROGRAM PEDAGOGY
The program pedagogy follows an outcome-driven, practitioner-designed,immersive methodology.
The unique learning cycle Learn → Practice → Apply → Review → Refactorhelps learners to learn from correcting their mistakes.
The Program ensures that the learner acquires the required skills. NIITbelieves by completing all activities as per the program design; everyindividual learner will acquire the necessary skills to be job ready.
All materials referred during the program are digital contents and code.During the program duration, learners will have access to the platform toaccess the digital contents.
All Digital contents access provided by NIIT is strictly for the use ofthe Learner during the program only and cannot be copied or replicated orelectronically transmitted or misused in any manner.
The medium of instruction in the program will be in English only.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Learners should abide by the programs academic milestones and all otherguidelines governing the execution and completion of the program. The Learnerundertakes to put in his best effort towards improving skills and knowledge bylearning from the registered program.
The program is designed to be completed within the duration mentioned inhours. The Calendar time in weeks is for reference purposes only. Actualduration is based on the Batch schedule such as Duration of the Sessions, No.of sessions in a Week, other planned / unplanned holidays during the period.Learners should refer to the Batch Schedule available in Learning ManagementSystem.
Since the program is outcome-driven, the Learner will not be able tomove ahead in the program until he/she completes the assignments. Therefore,the actual duration of the program would depend on the individual Learnersparticipative interest, involvement, and timely completion of theassignments/challenges.
If the Learner is not able to show progress as per the batch schedule,then in the interest of the learner, NIIT may be compelled to transfer theLearner to another batch or schedule remedial sessions for effective learning.Under such a situation, there might be a repetition of the previous sessionsand the planned end date of the program will be revised as per the new batchschedule. Any implications on EMIs towards the loan repayment or moratoriumperiod due to delay in completion of the program will be the Learnersresponsibility only.
The Learner must honor the financial obligation even if he/she decidesto discontinue the program at any time.
Learners who would need to change the batch, for not keeping pace withthe current batch may have to pay the applicable batch transfer conveniencecharges.
ASSESSMENTS
The Learner has to participate and complete all the assignments,assessments, and project work successfully. This may include but is not limitedto – quizzes, practice assignments, challenges, summative assignments,time-bound assignments, group discussions, and peer reviews.
CERTIFICATION
The Learner will be awarded a Certificate, on successful completion ofall assignments, assessments, and project work of the program.
The Learner has to be a Graduate to be awarded the Program CompletionCertificate.
Learners who do not clear the assessments/assignments and have not metthe attendance requirements will not receive any certificate.
A digitally verifiable certificate will be provided to the Learners,within days of the completion of the program.
PLACEMENT
This program comes with three different Placement Services and isapplicable to the Learners as per the criteria and other rules mentioned below:

Placement Assistance is applicable for Learners notpart of Placement Assurance and meeting the below criteria (the below criteriaoverrule and are applicable for all learners irrespective of their GraduationCollege and Academic performance)
- Learner age is >= 25 and less than 28 years
- Learner who has not cleared or not appeared in the Cocubes exam
Career Guidance is applicable for all Learners whose age is> 28 years
Other rules which will apply for all:
The Learners admission must be within the Program defined Admissionnorms.
The Learner must have successfully completed the program.
The Learner must have 100% Attendance in the Placement EngagementSessions.
The Learner shall create, update, maintain and share his/herprofile/portfolio through the digital platforms (such as LinkedIn, GitHub, etc)to NIIT, as required for the Placement services.
The Learner is expected to co-operate with NIITs placement process inits entirety.
The Learner shall maintain high standards of integrity, attendance,punctuality, regularity, and participate in the placement process.
NIIT shall provide adequate opportunities to the Learner to prepare andappear for the Interviews and other selection processes, to secure a placement.
The Learner shall regularly attend the placement preparation modules,client briefing sessions, and any other sessions as applicable.
The Learner shall attend the placement selection process (written test,Interviews, any other stages), anytime and anywhere in India as conducted bythe Prospective employer at the Learners own cost (if so required).
The placement provided will be anywhere in India. The Learner shall beready to relocate at their own cost to any location as may be offered by theProspective employer.
The Learner shall be provided with Placement opportunities based ontheir technical skills, personality attributes, academic performance, etc. thatwill match with the Prospective Employers requirements. Job opportunities inOrganizations having high cut-off criteria in academic performance will beoffered to only those Learners who will meet the criteria.
Placement will be according to the terms of employment as laid down bythe Prospective Employer and the Learner has to abide by the same.
The Learner shall be provided with the Placement Services within 90 daysof successful completion of the program.
NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regardingPlacement Service towards a Learner under the following circumstances
i. ForPlacement Assurance:
- If the Learner has received at least one offer letter with minimum CTC or higher as applicable for the program, from a Prospective Employer
- If the Learner accepts a placement offer from the Prospective Employer even if it is lower than the minimum CTC, considering various other advantages of the employment offer
ii. ForPlacement Assistance:
- If the Learner has received at least one offer letter as applicable for the program, from a Prospective Employer
- If the Learner has been provided with up to a maximum of three selection opportunities, irrespective of the Learner has availed the same or not
iii. ForCareer Guidance Support:
- NIIT will organize workshops/sessions on the creation of an online portfolio, LinkedIn profiling, and soft skills for each batch. Learners are informed about the schedule of these events through email. It is the responsibility of the Learners to attend these workshops/sessions and benefit from the same. Once the schedule is communicated to the Learners and the sessions are conducted, the service is considered as delivered irrespective of the Learners attendance or not. There will be no repeat of any of these sessions
iv. Ifthe Learner voluntarily discontinues from the placement services
Non-participation or any other act of non-cooperation with NIIT or withthe Partner Organizations Selection/Placement process shall lead to thewithdrawal of the Placement services on disciplinary grounds, at NIITs soleand absolute discretion.
For Learners with foreign nationality, the placement service will besubject to the prospective employer accepting the profile and sponsoring thenecessary work visa. NIIT will not guarantee placement assurance or assistancefor foreign nationals.
The learner will not be entitled to any refund (for Learners withPlacement Assurance only) once NIIT has deemed to have discharged itsobligations regarding Placement Services towards the Learner under any of theabove circumstances, including Learner being expelled on disciplinary grounds.
DIGITAL DEVICES
The Learner needs to have their own desktop or laptop computer (referto www.niit.com forrequisite configuration), Webcam, Headset with echo cancellation mic, broadbandInternet connectivity with a minimum of 20 MBPS, and Uninterrupted power supplyto join this program.
Registration to the Program implies that the Learner has the requisiteinfrastructure as per the details mentioned in the product webpage/ Programbrochure. Not having the requisite hardware and connectivity will affect thelearning.
The Learner is responsible to arrange their own resources(hardware/software/connectivity) as required to attend the Program.
The Learner is fully responsible for the proper functioning of thecomputer hardware and internet access.
NIIT is not responsible for the charges incurred for the usage ofhardware, software, or internet services provider fees.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of anyhardware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is notresponsible for the same.
SOFTWARE
NIIT will only provide the details of the software required for theProgram. It will be the responsibility of the Learners to arrange for thenecessary open-source or licensed software and install it on their devices. Nothaving the requisite software will affect the learning.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of anysoftware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is notresponsible for the same.
LEARNING MANAGEMENTSYSTEM (LMS)
As part of the program, NIIT will provide access to the online LMSthrough www.niit.com portal.
The LMS will have the facility to attend online sessions, access todigital learning materials, session recordings, assignments, learning plans asapplicable for the program.
The access to the LMS will be for the period of program completion only.
COMMUNICATION
To keep the Learner informed and updated about the learning, and otherservices, NIIT may communicate with the Learner through anyone/or all possiblemedium such as SMS/Call (@registered mobile number), email (@registeredemail-ID), or by post (@residential address) or message on LMS.
All such communications sent to the Learner are considered acknowledgedand read.
It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in theirdetails, by writing to the helpdesk CustomerCareDigital@niit.com.
Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program atNIIT, they have given the consent to NIIT to use their personal informationwhich includes mobile number, email id, and residential address forcommunicating with them at present and in the future as well.
Learner confirms that laws in relation to the unsolicited communicationreferred in National Do Not Call Registry (the "NDNC Registry") aslaid down by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will not be applicable forsuch communication, calls, SMS received from NIIT, its employees, agents and/orassociates.

DISCIPLINE
Learners are required to adhere to the norms of discipline and decorumduring the Online Sessions. Non-adherence to the same may result in consequentialpenal action, which may even include cancellation of Admission.
Any Learner who is found using unfair means during online examinations,or while doing hands-on assignments and assessments, by indulging in activitieslike copying, discussions, using technology-based instruments, or other meansto cheat, will be debarred from the further continuation of the Program.
There will be Zero tolerance towards any form of copying. If there iseven a small doubt about copying, the mentor may decide not to evaluate theassignments submitted. Mentors decision is final in cases of plagiarism.
Indiscipline shall include, but not be limited to misbehavior, nuisance,brawl, use of foul language in the online chat forums, posting objectionablematerial in the Learning Management System (LMS), use of unfair means at thetime of assessments, being drunk, having consumed narcotics substances, andindulging in any act or omission which amounts to discouraging / demeaning/hampering the program structure during the Online Sessions.
NIIT expects the Learner to resolve all matters relating to the enrolledprogram, delivery, fees, scholarship (if any) and placement; directly with NIITdesignated officer. Any attempt to bring any outside influence directly/orindirectly – upon any NIIT authority or NIIT Partner Organization (if any) tofurther impact Learners interests, in respect of matters pertaining to theassociation with NIIT and NIIT Services with any Partner Organization; wouldamount to a breach of admission contract and academic norms. It would lead todebarring the Learner from availing further services from NIIT and thus willlead to initiation of appropriate action.
During the course of Learners association with NIIT, the Learner willnot take part in any demonstration/agitation against NIIT and its officialsfor/or on behalf of any external bodies/political outfits – either as a memberor a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above, would be treated asprejudicial to the interest and reputation of the institute leading to theinitiation of appropriate action.
NIIT expects the Learner to notify NIIT officials immediately with thepast and current details of any civil or criminal case(s) instituted againstthe Learner in any Court of Law or any complaint / show cause notice /prosecution with/by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, as alsothe Learner will notify any outcome of such complaint to NIIT in writing. Anyact in breach of this term or suppression of facts would entail initiation ofappropriate action as deemed fit by NIIT/Partner Organization.
PRIVACY POLICY
Learners are also supposed to abide by the privacy policy, the terms andconditions mentioned in the LMS, and NIIT Student App at all times. Anyunethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation ofadmission and forfeiture of the Program fee.
GENDER SENSITIZATION
NIIT does not discriminate or encourage any kind of sexual harassment ofwomen employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealtwith, as per the law.
MEDICAL FITNESS
Candidates enrolling in the program, confirms the understanding thatthis program is being offered through Online admission and the training isdelivered online, and they are medically fit to undergo the same without anyconstraints.
Since the program is backed with Placement Assurance, the placement ofthe candidate post completing the program successfully is subject to thecandidate clearing the medical fitness requirements of the recruitingorganization.
If the candidate is unable to clear/satisfy the medical requirements,NIIT will not be responsible for the placement of the candidate and there willbe no refund of the program fee. In such cases, NIIT shall be deemed to havedischarged its obligations towards the learners placement.
AMENDMENTS
NIIT reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw or substitute any ofthe terms and conditions without any prior notice.
The changes may be necessitated due to NIITs focus on continuousimprovement of the processes and services, research and development in themethodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements, andstatutory compliances.
All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section ofthe LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.
The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.
LEARNERS UNDERTAKING
The candidate understands that the application form is to be filled bythemselves only and they are responsible for the correctness and completenessof the information provided including the supporting documentsuploaded/submitted. The candidate also understands and agrees that, if thedetails provided are found to be incorrect / misrepresented at any time, theadmission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the fees paid.
A Candidate paying the requisite program fee and registered for theprogram confirms that the Candidate / Learner has read, understood, andagreed to all the terms and conditions as mentioned in this document www.niit.com websiteand has not relied on any other oral representation by the NIIT team or any 3rd party.
