Advanced Program in Banking and Finance – Sales and Relationship Management Program

Learners are required to adhere to the academic and placement selection process, eligibility requirements, terms and conditions to avail the services as specified below:

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENT:

Learner name registered in NIIT records at the time of selection process should exactly match with the name printed on the Learner AADHAR Card. Please note that any request regarding change/correction in name after the submission of application form shall not be entertained.

Learner must have secured >=60% aggregate marks in 10th, 12th at the time of admission. For calculating the aggregate % all subjects marks including languages need to be considered. No round off to be done for calculating the aggregate marks (e.g. 59.99% is not eligible and can’t be rounded as 60%).

Learner must have secured >=60% aggregate marks in Graduation. The Graduation Certificate and Mark sheets of all years need to be submitted before seeking the Placement Services.

Learner should have done 10th, 12th & Graduation studies in Regular mode. Any other mode of education (i.e. correspondence / distance / diploma / vocational / open schooling etc.) is not allowed.

Learner must not have any gap between 10th, 12th and Graduation completion.

Learner age must be less than or equal to 18 years at the time of taking admission to APBNF program. (Also age should be <24 at the time of availing placement services)

Learner would be required to upload self-attested scan copy of the following documents along with the application and should be able to produce original documents as and when required during the selection process or at the time of availing the Placement services. (Upload JPEG, TIFF, PNG & PDF formats maximum 5 MB size).

  1. Birth Certificate (class 10 certificate mentioning the date of birth is acceptable).
  2. Class 10, 12 and Graduation Mark Sheets & Certificates.
  3. AADHAR card
  4. PAN card

In the event of non-submission or discrepancy in documents furnished by the Learner, this Admission Offer shall be withheld at NIIT’s sole discretion. NIIT reserves the right to cancel the admission offer and/or termination of the program related services any time, in case the Learner is found not meeting the above eligibility criteria.

It shall be construed that you are well aware of the program fee and the applicable tax to be payable in favor of ‘NIIT Limited’ as mentioned on the APBNF program page on niit.com.

DIGITAL DEVICE REQUIREMENTS:

Learners need to have access to Computer (Laptop / Desktop with webcam, Headset with mic) and High-speed Internet broadband connection (Min 2 Mbps download speed). The Delivery of the program includes Live Instructor led online sessions, Pre-reads. The courseware provided is also in digital form and hence to read the same it is mandatory to have machine and connectivity for the Learners.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

The Program duration is of 240 hours and is completely delivered through Online live Instructor led mode. Additionally Learner needs to undergo 30 hours of self-paced modules.

Learners are bound by the rules, regulations, timings, administrative procedures and discipline requirements of NIIT Digital and must necessarily comply with prescribed guidelines.

Learners should abide by the academic milestones and all other guidelines governing the execution and completion of this program within the timelines.

Learners should put in their best efforts towards improving their skills and knowledge, by learning from this program and they should maintain professional behavior at all times.

Learners should ensure a minimum of 85% attendance is maintained in the program.

Since this program is being delivered to the Learners during the University hours, for the students of Sushant University, it is important that the Learners need to necessarily complete the program as per the schedule as per the University calendar.

ASSESSMENTS:

Assessments are conducted online, through NIIT Learning Management System (LMS). It is mandatory to have the Webcam at the Learner end for appearing in the Online proctored assessments.

Learner should obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in the overall score from the Module Tests in the program.

Learner must obtain at least 50% marks in each Module Test (within stipulated three (3) attempts; First attempt + 2 Supplementary attempts). Absence in any of the assessment shall be counted as an attempt.

Learner must successfully clear the external certification in Mutual Fund 5A Distributors Module examination conducted by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). While NIIT shall train the Learners for the NISM certification exam, registering for the exam and successfully clearing the exam, would be the Learner’s responsibility. Learner need to submit the Certificate as valid proof of completion to NIIT. External examination fee is approximately Rs.1500 (check the latest fee with NISM) which has to be borne by the Learner.

CERTIFICATION:

Learners for whom the overall performance in the program is >= 60% aggregate and all evaluations are completed within specified timelines, shall be eligible for receiving the ‘Advanced Program in Banking and Finance – Sales & Relationship Management’ certificate with appropriate Grade.

Learners with performance < 60% shall receive a Participation certificate ‘Certificate Program in Banking & Finance - Sales & Relationship Management’.

If the Learner wish to cancel the admission to this program, he/she need to apply online through training.com for withdrawal from the program at least 48 hours before the batch commencement. In such case, he/she shall be eligible for full refund.

PLACEMENT SERVICES:

Learners should meet all the norms mentioned in Admissions section above, and have completed the APBNF program successfully with>=60% aggregate for availing placement services.

Learners will be eligible for Placement Services immediately after completion of their Final Semester / Graduation. If the Learner doesn’t submit the proof of Graduation completion and register for the placement services within 1 month of the program completion, the services will be deemed as discharged.

NIIT shall provide Learners with interview opportunities of organizations where the profile or academic scores or stream, matches the criteria as prescribed by the recruiting organization or if the organization has shortlisted the Learner.

Learners are expected to co-operate with the recruiting organization selection process. Non-participation or any other act of non-cooperation with the process, including non-participation or not adhering to timelines, shall lead to withdrawal of Placement Services, at NIIT’s sole and absolute discretion.

NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Service towards a Learner once they have received at least one offer letter, from a prospective employer or if the Learner voluntarily discontinue from the placement services or if the Learner has been debarred from the Placement Service due to non-compliance to the norms.

If the Learner does not accept the opportunities shared and not participate in the selection process or discontinue from the selection process midway, then such act or omission will be considered as indiscipline and NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Services towards the Learner.

Opportunities will be provided in the BFSI private sector i.e., Banking, NBFCs, Finance, Micro Finance and Insurance companies.

The assignment of work, nature of work, as part of the placement allotted to the Learner shall be the sole prerogative of the recruiting organization and therefore NIIT shall not be, in any manner, responsible for the same. Work profile shall be any or mix of Sales & Business Development, Customer servicing, Branch operations & compliance where sales shall be an integral part of the profile. Employment joining date shall be decided by recruiting organization, and therefore NIIT cannot be held liable for the same.

Learner shall have to undergo the selection process anywhere in India as required by the recruiting organization at his/her own cost.

Learner can be placed anywhere in India, and should be ready to relocate, if required, at his/her own cost. Request for location change or work profile change shall not be entertained by NIIT. NIIT has no role with respect to internal operations of recruiting organization.

Once allotted, Employment offer acceptance cannot be deferred to a later date. Learner is required to proceed for Employment once allotted.

Recruiting organization reserves the right to defer, withhold, or terminate offer of Employment at any time due to inappropriate behavior of Learner, non-cooperation with specified guidelines, continued non-performance in assignment/training, acts of fraud, embezzlement, or environmental business conditions etc. In such cases, NIIT does not hold any obligation for refund, reallocation Employment offer in future.

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS):

As part of the program, NIIT will provide access to the online LMS through www.niit.com portal.

The LMS will have the facility to attend online sessions, access to digital learning materials, session recordings, assignments and Learning Plan as applicable for the program.

The access to the LMS will be for the period of program completion only.

COMMUNICATION:

To keep the Learner informed and updated about the learning, and other services, NIIT may communicate with the Learner through any one/or all means such as SMS/Call (at registered mobile number), email (at registered email-ID) or by post (at residential address) or message on LMS.

All such communications sent to the Learners are considered as acknowledged and read.

It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in their details, by writing to the helpdesk at customercare@niit.com.

Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program at NIIT, they have given the consent to NIIT to use their personal information which includes mobile number, email id and residential address for communicating with them, at present and in the future as well.

Learner confirms that laws in relation to the unsolicited communication referred in National Do Not Call Registry (the "NDNC Registry") as laid down by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will not be applicable for such communication/ calls/ SMS received from NIIT, its employees, agents and/or associates.

MEDICAL FITNESS:

Learners must be medically fit and be able to produce proof of the same. A self-certification needs to be submitted by the candidate to this effect at the time of admission

Recruiting organization may administer medical test before recruitment or inform the Learner to produce the medical certificate. Learners need to comply with the same.

NIIT will not be responsible if the Learner is found medically not fit for any employment. It is deemed as Placement Services have been discharged to the Learner.

DISCIPLINE:

In case of any issue relating to the Learners program, education delivery, fee and Placement Services, Learner needs to directly connect with NIIT. Any attempt to bring any outside influence directly or indirectly upon NIIT to further Learners interests in respect of matters pertaining to services from NIIT would amount to breach of admission contract & academic norms and would lead to debarring the Learner from availing any services from NIIT.

Please note that during the training at NIIT, Learner shall not take part in any demonstration / agitation against NIIT and/or its officials for/or on behalf of any external bodies / political body either as a member or a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above, would be treated as prejudicial to the interest and reputation of NIIT and would lead to debarring the Learner from availing any services from NIIT.

NIIT expects Learner to notify NIIT immediately with past and current details of any civil or criminal case/s instituted against him/her in any Court of Law or any complaint/ show cause notice/ prosecution with/by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, as also Learner shall notify any outcome of such complaint to NIIT in writing. Any act in breach of these terms or suppression of facts would entail initiation of appropriate action as deemed fit by NIIT. In case if the Learner is convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, Learner will forfeit the right to be provided with the Placement Services, as mentioned herein.

PRECAUTIONS:

NIIT does not appoint any agent / broker, nor charges any additional money for confirmed program admission and does not grant any employment assurance at Learner preferred organization/branch/location. Learners are expected not to pay any money apart from the program fee to anyone for applying and / or for admission in the APBNF program. If any staff member or any person approaches and demands additional money, please report the same immediately to customercare@niit.com.

If the Learners are found indulging in malpractice or approaching any intermediaries or bribing the NIIT staff for any favour for admission, selection, posting etc., the Learner shall be debarred from the program and no refund shall be applicable.

Learners are required to check the status of all payments made in favor of “NIIT Limited” with respect to the APBNF program on www.training.com , available in your login. In case of any discrepancies, please report the same immediately to customercare@niit.com.

ADMISSION CANCELLATION:

Learner admission is liable to be cancelled in case of:

  1. Prolonged absence during the training period without seeking any prior permission / approval from NIIT.
  2. Any breach on the Learner part of the terms and conditions mentioned in this letter
  3. Any incorrect information furnished by the Learner

PRIVACY POLICY

Learners are also supposed to abide by the privacy policy, the terms and conditions mentioned in the LMS, and NIIT Student App at all times. Any unethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation of admission and forfeiture of the Program fee.

GENDER SENSITIZATION

NIIT does not discriminate or encourage any kind of sexual harassment of women employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealt with, as per the law.

AMENDMENTS

NIIT reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw or substitute any of the terms and conditions without any prior notice.

The changes may be necessitated due to NIIT’s focus in continuous improvement of the processes and services, research and development in the methodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements and statutory compliances.

All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section of the LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.

The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.

LEARNER’S UNDERTAKING

Candidate understands that the application form is to be filled by them only and they are responsible for correctness and completeness of the information provided including the supporting documents. Candidate also understand and agree that, in case if the details provided are found to be incorrect / misrepresented any time, the admission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the fees paid.

A Candidate paying the requisite program fee and registered for the program confirms that the Candidate has read, understood and agreed to all the terms and conditions as mentioned in this document & www.niit.com website and has not relied on any other oral representation by NIIT team or any 3rd party.
