DEFINITIONS
The following words and expressions shall, unless the context requires otherwise, have the following meanings as set out below:
“Assessment” - means various forms of tests that are conducted to evaluate the learning outcomes for each Learner in the Program.
“Attendance” -means attending the Live Virtual connect sessions by a learner for a significant part of the planned duration. Minimum 85% attendance need to be maintained in the program.
“Award/Title” - is the certificate conferred to a Learner in the form of a digitally verifiable document, upon successful completion of the Program and meeting all the required prerequisites for conferring the same.
“Batch” - is launched to facilitate the execution of a Program. A Batch is identified with its unique Batch Code, and its other attributes such as days and time of execution, start and projected end date. Candidates are allocated a batch, to learn and complete the respective program.
“Candidate”- shall mean an individual meeting the Eligibility Criteria of the program.
“Certificate” is the digitally verifiable document issued to the Learner upon completing the Program and meeting the required prerequisites as applicable for completion of the said Program.
“Credential”- shall include all the documents certifying the age, address, degree certificate etc. obtained by the Candidate. The Candidate shall be required to produce the original of the Credentials if required by NIIT or the Prospective Employer.
“Eligibility Criteria”- shall mean the eligibility criteria that the Candidate must meet before he/she applies for the program.
“IFBI” – shall mean Institute of Finance Banking and Insurance, a joint venture between NIIT and ICICI Bank established in 2006, having its registered office at Plot No. 85, Sector-32, Institutional Area, Gurugram – 122001 (Haryana) India.
“Learner” - shall mean the Candidate who has taken admission in the said program at NIIT as per the admission criteria and evaluation process.
“Learning Portal”- Learners will be able to access the needful resources at the Learning Portal or Learning Management System (LMS) after enrollment. Learner’s access to the Learning Portal will be governed by the terms and conditions, which are available on the Portal.
“NIIT” – shall mean NIIT Ltd, having its registered office at Plot No. 85, Sector- 32, Institutional Area, Gurugram – 122001 (Haryana) India
“Offer Letter”- shall mean a letter issued by a Prospective Employer offering gainful engagement/employment to the Learner to join their organization from a particular date and for a particular position.
“Payment Option” – shall mean any of the opted Payment plans as mentioned on the program page of the NIIT website.
“Placement”- shall mean the offer of engagement/employment from a Prospective Employer by issuing an Offer Letter.
“Placement Assurance”- shall mean the guarantee of Placement to the Candidate who has duly complied with the mentioned Terms & Conditions.
“Placement Assistance” – shall mean providing up to a maximum of 3 selection opportunities to the Candidates who have duly complied with the mentioned Terms & Conditions.
“Procedure”- shall mean the procedure to be followed by the Candidate for his/her Placement.
“Program”- shall mean the program mentioned in the applicability section for which the Learner has taken admission at NIIT.
“Program Fee” - shall mean the total fee for the program payable by the Learner for the services opted with the program, including Admission, Tuition Fee, Placement Fee, and Funding Charges (if applicable). Applicable taxes to be paid on and above the Program Fee.
“Prospective Employer”- shall mean the third-party organization who may issue the Offer Letter to the Candidate for his/her Placement.
“Admission Validity Period and Statute of Limitation (SOL)”- This is the period, for which the admission is valid for the learner. The validity period will be different for different programs and admission category. Learner can obtain the title of the program and any applicable placement services within this period.
“Tiered Colleges/Campuses” List of colleges/universities identified by ICICI from which if any student is applying, they are not eligible for this program. The list of colleges can be accessed at niit.com program page FAQ section.
APPLICABILITY
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) shall apply to the ‘Learner’ of the Program in Relationship Management for Under Graduates - PRMUG. The enrolled Learner is bound by the rules, regulations, timings, administrative procedures, and discipline requirements as applicable and must necessarily comply with the program guidelines.
PROGRAM ADMISSION
The candidate needs to apply for the program by filling out the online application form on www.niit.com/India. It is implied that the Candidate is fully aware of the eligibility requirements and program details mentioned on the website and then applying.
Candidates applying for the program should meet the below criteria.
1) Your name mentioned in the Application form should be as per your AADHAR Card. Please note that any request regarding change/correction in the name after the submission of the application form shall not be entertained.

5) Learners must ensure that they maintain a “healthy Credit history and shall have a minimum CIBIL score of 720 or -1 if there is no credit history.
6)ICICI specific requirements:
The candidate needs to upload the self-attested scanned copies (Jpeg, Tiff, Png & PDF formats only of maximum 5 MB size) of the following documents and produce the originals for verification as and when required.
In the event of non-submission and/or being unable to produce the originals and/or discrepancy in the documents/information furnished by the Candidate, the admission offer shall be withheld/cancelled anytime at the sole discretion of NIIT with no refund of the fee paid.
NIIT reserves the right to cancel the admission selection letter & termination of program-related services at any time in case the learner does not fulfil the eligibility criteria & still proceed with the program.
Selection to the program is based on the performance in the Admission Screening Test (which may include Aptitude Test (ICET), English Language Test, ICICI Profiler Test and Personal Interview by NIIT & ICICI Panellist).
Selected Candidates will receive the Admission Selection Letter by email (can also be downloaded from the niit.com login account), post which they would need to pay the applicable program fee on/or before the last date mentioned in the letter.
The admission selection letter is not transferable and does not guarantee the seat unless the registration formalities are completed within the last date mentioned in the letter or before the admissions are closed for the batch whichever is earlier.
The registration to a program is always for a specific batch with a defined delivery schedule. Therefore, the admission is valid for the specific program and batch, and the period. The candidate is expected to complete the program as per the batch schedule within this period.
Due to unavoidable reasons if the batch start date is revised to a later date or advanced, the admission validity period will be revised accordingly. Candidates will be informed through email about the change in the batch start date. Any candidate having an objection to the revised schedule may write to CustomerCareBFSI@niit.com within 7 days or before the revised batch start date whichever is earlier and discuss alternate options, which may include cancellation of admission. NIIT will not be responsible for any financial damages/claims due to such changes.
Candidates would not be able to take a break from the program or defer their admission to a later batch, once the batch has started. For any unavoidable reasons, if the batch has to be changed as per the candidate’s requirement, subject to availability and approval by NIIT, the candidate may have to pay the applicable convenience charges. In case of a batch change, the days and timings of the new batch may be different from the current batch and NIIT does not guarantee the same batch schedule.
In case a learner fails to start the program within 2 months of registrations, then his/her admission to the PGPRM program will lapse and the Initial amount paid by him/her will be forfeited.
LOAN FACILITY
NIIT, in the best interest of the Candidates, has enabled loan facilities through 3rd party Finance Companies (Lender). The Loan approval will be subject to the Learners meeting the eligibility as determined by the Lender. The loan facility is applicable for select programs only.
Availing of the loan through the Lender is optional and is a personal choice of the candidate. Candidates can also register in the program by paying the full program fee without availing of the loan or can avail loan from any other source.
Candidates availing of the loan should familiarize themselves with all the terms and conditions (such as the interest rates, EMI amount, moratorium period, foreclosure, etc.,) as applicable from the Lender before availing of the loan. The loan agreement is between the Candidate and the Lender and NIIT has no role in the Loan Process.
Candidates availing of the loan, need to pay the applicable non-refundable booking fee to NIIT within the due date as mentioned in the admission selection letter to reserve the seat in the selected batch.
Balance program fees are to be paid after the loan is processed. Registration to the program is confirmed only on payment of the full program fees.
If there is any delay in the loan process, and the registration formalities are not completed before the last date of admission for the batch, then the Candidate will be accommodated in the next available batch at the time of registration. NIIT will not be responsible for any delay in either loan processing or loan disbursement.
If the Candidate’s loan application is not approved, then the Candidate can pay the balance program fee and register for the program. If the candidate is not able to pay the requisite fee, then he/she can apply for a refund of the booking fee. The Refund will be processed within 30 working days and the amount will be credited to the Candidate’s bank account. The refund of the booking fee is only possible if the loan is rejected by the Lender and not if the Candidate wants to withdraw the admission offer.
Candidates availing of a loan, need to pay the applicable loan processing fee to the Lender at the time of loan approval. Candidates should pay their Loan EMIs directly to the Lender.
For Loan closure or cancellation of a loan application, or any dispute related to the loan, the candidate is required to contact the Lender directly and NIIT has no role in the same.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION / REFUNDS
The Booking amount paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the registration process is not completed within the due date.
The Learner can cancel the registration or withdraw from the Program at any time.
If the cancellation request is submitted up to two days before the batch start date, the Learner is entitled to a full refund after deducting the non-refundable fee, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes.
If the cancellation request is submitted on or after the batch start date (even if the candidate did not attend any sessions and or did not avail of any services), there will be no refund applicable.
If the cancellation of registration is due to delay/revision in starting the batch (program) from the scheduled start date or the batch/program is cancelled, then the Learner will be eligible for a full program fee refund.
If the Learner decides to discontinue the program after the batch has started, there will be no refund of the program fee already paid. If the Learner has availed any loan towards the program fee, the learner will carry the liability of repaying the full loan amount. If the Learner wants to foreclose the loan or change the loan repayment terms, the Learner should contact the lender directly.
For Learners with Placement Assurance, subject to the Learner completing the program successfully and meeting all the Placement requirements, If NIIT is not able to provide a Job offer for the Learner within 180 days of the program completion as per the requirements, then NIIT will refund the program fee paid by the Learner after retaining the non-refundable fee component (booking amount), and any other gateway charges with applicable taxes.
If the Learner is eligible for any refund and the Learner has availed of the loan facility, then the refund amount will be paid to the Learner after settling the outstanding loan amount with the Lender. Any refund to the Learner will be made to the Learner’s bank account only.
There will be no refund on cancellation of registration due to disciplinary action initiated against the Learner.

PROGRAM PEDAGOGY
The program pedagogy follows an outcome-driven, practitioner-designed, immersive methodology.
The Program ensures that the learner acquires the required skills. NIIT believes by completing all activities as per the program design; every individual learner will acquire the necessary skills to be job ready.
All materials referred to during the program are digital content. During the program duration, learners will have access to the platform to access the digital content.
All Digital content access provided by NIIT is strictly for the use of the Learner during the program only and cannot be copied or replicated or electronically transmitted or misused in any manner.
The medium of instruction in the program will be in English only.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Learners should abide by the program’s academic milestones and all other guidelines governing the execution and completion of the program. The Learner undertakes to put in his best effort towards improving skills and knowledge by learning from the registered program.
The program is designed to be completed within the duration mentioned in hours. The Calendar time in weeks is for reference purposes only. Actual duration is based on the Batch schedule such as Duration of the Sessions, No. of sessions in a Week, and other planned / unplanned holidays during the period. Learners should refer to the Batch Schedule available in Learning Management System.
The learner has to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance in the program. The learner’s admission is liable to be cancelled in case of Prolonged absence during the training period without seeking any prior permission/approval from NIIT and/or ICICI Bank.
The learner has to complete all specified e-learning modules, Gaming, Simulator and activities, and ICICI Bank specific modules in addition to the live lectures as per the schedule.
If the learner is not able to complete the program successfully as per the schedule, there will be a delay in the commencement of employment with the partner organization. However, the learner will be responsible to make the necessary arrangement for the payment of EMIs against the loan taken.
The Learner must honor the financial obligation even if he/she decides to discontinue the program at any time.
Learners who would need to change the batch, for not keeping pace with the current batch may have to pay the applicable batch transfer convenience charges.
ASSESSMENTS
The Learner has to participate in and complete all the assignments, assessments, module tests, and project work successfully.
For successful completion, the learner has to have
CERTIFICATION
The Learner will be awarded the PGPRM program Certificate, subject to attaining >= 50% in the overall performance in the program.
The Learner has to be a Graduate to be awarded the Program Completion Certificate.
Learners who do not clear the assessments/assignments and have not met the attendance requirements will not receive any certificate.
A digitally verifiable certificate will be provided to the Learners, on completion of the program.
PLACEMENT
This program comes with Assured Placement with ICICI and is applicable to the Learners as per the criteria and other rules mentioned in this document.
Learners not meeting the eligibility criteria will not be eligible for Placement Services.
The Learner’s admission must be within the Program defined Admission norms.
The Learner must have successfully completed the program.
The Learner must have 100% Attendance in the Placement Engagement Sessions.
The Learner must ensure that they maintain a “healthy Credit history and shall have a minimum CIBIL score of 720 or -1 if there is no credit history.
The Learner is expected to co-operate with NIIT’s placement process in its entirety.
The Learner shall maintain high standards of integrity, attendance, punctuality, regularity, and participate in the placement process.
The Learner shall regularly attend the placement preparation modules, client briefing sessions, and any other sessions as applicable.
The placement provided will be anywhere in India. The Learner shall be ready to relocate at their own cost to any location as may be offered by the Prospective employer.
Placement will be according to the terms of employment as laid down by the Prospective Employer and the Learner has to abide by the same.
NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Service towards a Learner under the following circumstances
Non-participation or any other act of non-cooperation with NIIT or with the Partner Organization’s Selection/Placement process shall lead to the withdrawal of the Placement services on disciplinary grounds, at NIIT’s sole and absolute discretion.
For Learners of foreign nationality, the placement service will be subject to the prospective employer accepting the profile and sponsoring the necessary work visa. NIIT will not guarantee placement assurance or assistance for foreign nationals.
The learner will not be entitled to any refund once NIIT has deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Services towards the Learner under any of the above circumstances, including the Learner being expelled on disciplinary grounds.
DIGITAL DEVICES
The Learner needs to have their own desktop or laptop computer (refer to www.niit.com for requisite configuration), Webcam, Headset with echo cancellation mic, broadband Internet connectivity with a minimum of 20 MBPS, and Uninterrupted power supply to join this program.
Registration to the Program implies that the Learner has the requisite infrastructure as per the details mentioned in the product webpage/ Program brochure. Not having the requisite hardware and connectivity will affect the learning.
The Learner is responsible to arrange their own resources (hardware/ software/ connectivity) as required to attend the Program.
The Learner is fully responsible for the proper functioning of the computer hardware and internet access.
NIIT is not responsible for the charges incurred for the usage of hardware, software, or internet services provider fees.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any hardware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is not responsible for the same.
SOFTWARE
NIIT will only provide the details of the software required for the Program. It will be the responsibility of the Learners to arrange for the necessary open-source or licensed software and install it on their devices. Not having the requisite software will affect the learning.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any software, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is not responsible for the same.
LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
As part of the program, NIIT will provide access to the online LMS through www.niit.com portal.
The LMS will have the facility to attend online sessions, and access to digital learning materials (Study material, Videos, e-learning), session recordings, assignments, and learning plans as applicable for the program.
Since all the learning material provided is in digital form, to access the same it is mandatory to have a computer with the requisite configuration and connectivity for the Learner.
The access to the LMS will be for the period of program completion only.
Fee Payment
All fee payments are to be made online through the LMS payment gateway.
Learners are required to check the status of all payments made in favor of “NIIT Limited” with respect to the PGPRM program on the LMS dashboard, available through their login. In case of any discrepancy please report the same immediately to customercarebfsi@niit.com
NIIT Staff or representatives are strictly advised not to collect any fee from the Learners directly.
Therefore, Learners are advised not to make any payment to any NIIT Staff or Outsider to their personal accounts / Paytm / Google pay etc., NIIT will not be responsible for any such payments made by the learners.
Learners availing deferred payment option, are advised to make the payment on or before the due date, failing which the Learner will be declared as Fee Defaulter and will not be allowed to continue in the program.
Access to the LMS and other services will be barred till the payment status is regularised.
COMMUNICATION
To keep the Learner informed and updated about the learning, and other services, NIIT may communicate with the Learner through anyone/or all possible medium such as SMS/Call (@registered mobile number), email (@registered email-ID), or by post (@residential address) or through message center on LMS.
All such communications sent to the Learner are considered acknowledged and read.
It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in their details, by writing to the helpdesk CustomerCareBFSI@niit.com.
Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program at NIIT, they have given the consent to NIIT to use their personal information which includes mobile number, email id, and residential address for communicating with them at present and in the future as well.
Learner confirms that laws in relation to the unsolicited communication referred in the National Do Not Call Registry (the "NDNC Registry") as laid down by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will not be applicable for such communication, calls, SMS received from NIIT, its employees, agents and/or associates.

DISCIPLINE
Learners are bound by the rules, regulations, timings, administrative procedures and discipline requirements of the NIIT and ICICI Bank and must necessarily comply with prescribed guidelines.
Learners are required to adhere to the norms of discipline and decorum during the Online Sessions. Non-adherence to the same may result in consequential penal action, which may even include cancellation of Admission. Learners would be required to maintain satisfactory conduct throughout the training program.
Any Learner who is found using unfair means during online examinations, or while doing hands-on assignments and assessments, by indulging in activities like copying, discussions, using technology-based instruments, or other means to cheat, will be debarred from the further continuation of the Program.
There will be Zero tolerance toward any form of copying. If there is even a small doubt about copying, the mentor may decide not to evaluate the assignments submitted. Mentors’ decision is final in cases of plagiarism.
Indiscipline shall include, but not be limited to misbehavior, nuisance, brawl, use of foul language in the online chat forums, posting objectionable material in the Learning Management System (LMS), use of unfair means at the time of assessments, being drunk, having consumed narcotics substances, and indulging in any act or omission which amounts to discouraging / demeaning/ hampering the program structure during the Online Sessions.
NIIT expects the Learner to resolve all matters relating to the enrolled program, delivery, fees, scholarship (if any), and placement; directly with NIIT designated officer. Any attempt to bring any outside influence directly/or indirectly – upon any NIIT authority or NIIT Partner Organization (if any) to further impact Learner’s interests, in respect of matters pertaining to the association with NIIT and NIIT Services with any Partner Organization; would amount to a breach of admission contract and academic norms. It would lead to debarring the Learner from availing further services from NIIT and thus will lead to the initiation of appropriate action.
During the course of the Learner’s association with NIIT, the Learner will not take part in any demonstration/agitation against NIIT and its officials for/or on behalf of any external bodies/political outfits – either as a member or a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above would be treated as prejudicial to the interest and reputation of the institute leading to the initiation of appropriate action including debarring the learner from availing any services from NIIT and or partner organization.
NIIT expects the Learner to notify NIIT officials immediately with the past and current details of any civil or criminal case(s) instituted against the Learner in any Court of Law or any complaint/show cause notice/prosecution with/by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, as also the Learner will notify any outcome of such complaint to NIIT in writing. Any act in breach of this term or suppression of facts would entail initiation of appropriate action as deemed fit by NIIT/Partner Organization. In case if you are convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude, you will forfeit the right to be provided with the employment, as mentioned herein.
PRIVACY POLICY
Learners are also supposed to abide by the privacy policy, the terms and conditions mentioned in the LMS, and NIIT Student App at all times. Any unethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation of admission and forfeiture of the Program fee.
GENDER SENSITIZATION
NIIT does not discriminate or encourage any kind of sexual harassment of women employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealt with, as per the law.
MEDICAL FITNESS
Candidates enrolling in the program, confirm the understanding that this program is being offered through Online admission and the training is delivered online, and they are medically fit to undergo the same without any constraints.
Since the program is backed with Placement Assurance, the placement of the candidate post completing the program successfully is subject to the candidate clearing the medical fitness requirements of the recruiting organization and or producing the proof of the same as the case may be.
If the candidate is unable to clear/satisfy the medical requirements, NIIT will not be responsible for the placement of the candidate and there will be no refund of the program fee. In such cases, NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations towards the learner’s placement.
AMENDMENTS
NIIT reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw or substitute any of the terms and conditions without any prior notice.
The changes may be necessitated due to NIIT’s focus on continuous improvement of the processes and services, research and development in the methodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements, and statutory compliances.
All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section of the LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.
The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.
LEARNER’S CONSENT
As part of my admission to the Post Graduate program in Relationship Management program offered by NIIT, I hereby give my consent to NIIT, for sharing my personal details with the third-party company ICICI Bank, for enabling my access to their learning platform and other services provided by them. I have no objection to the ICICI Bank team contacting me by phone, email, and or what’s up from time to time to provide the necessary details and updates.
LEARNER’S UNDERTAKING
The candidate understands that the application form is to be filled by themselves only and they are responsible for the correctness and completeness of the information provided including the supporting documents uploaded/submitted. The candidate also understands and agrees that, if the details provided are found to be incorrect / misrepresented at any time, the admission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the fees paid.
It shall be construed that the learner is well aware of the program fee and the applicable taxes to be payable in favor of ‘NIIT Limited’ as mentioned on the PGPRM program page on niit.com.
NIIT has no agents/brokers, nor charges any additional money for confirmed program admission and/or does not grant any Employment assurance at the learner’s preferred branch/location. Learners are expected not to pay any money apart from the program fee mentioned on the niit.com website to anyone for applying and/or for admission to the PGPRM program.
If any staff member or any person approaches and demands additional money, please report the same immediately to CustomerCareBFSI@niit.com.
If any learner is found indulging in malpractice or approaching any middlemen/3rd party or bribing the NIIT staff for any favour for admission, selection, posting, etc., the Learner shall be debarred from the program and no refund shall be applicable.
A Candidate paying the requisite program fee and registered for the program confirms that the Candidate / Learner has read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions as mentioned in this document & www.niit.com website and has not relied on any other oral representation by the NIIT team or any 3rd party representative.
