Offers free access to
CTET preparation portal from 5th Sept to 30th Sept to better prepare teachers for this noble profession
New Delhi, 4 September, 2015: On the eve of teacher's day, NIIT, a global leader in skills and talent development, has announced free access to CTET preparation portal to all teachers and would be teachers of India from Sept 5th to Sept 30th 2015. Through this initiative NIIT would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to all teachers who have dedicated their lives to groom the next generation Indians.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Advantage Program is an initiative by NIIT to support Pre-Service/In-Service teachers to prepare for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and to help them ace the exam.

The CTET program has been launched under aegis of
NIIT Litmus, an initiative by NIIT for helping young aspirants prepare for competitive exams leading to enhanced employability. Qualifying CTET is a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in Government Schools. Leading private schools also ask for CTET qualification for recruitment and for determining pay scale. CTET is conducted by CBSE, twice a year in accordance with the guidelines framed by NCTE as per provisions of the RTE act. The rationale of including the Teacher Eligibility Test as a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher is to bring national standards and benchmark teacher quality in the recruitment process, improve performance standards of teachers and quality of teaching.
The
CTET
Advantage program offered by NIIT has been designed to provide complete revision and clarification of concepts related to pedagogy and child development. NIIT is empanelled with CBSE to conduct various development programs, including programs on CCE for School Teachers and for School Principals.
