New Delhi, September 7, 2015: NIIT Limited, a global leader in skills and talent development, announced India's most significant IT & New-Age Careers Scholarship program -
'Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship', to enhance employability for meritorious students by bridging the affordability gap and making them future-ready to meet the emerging manpower needs of today's knowledge economy. For over 25 years, these scholarships have offered endless opportunities to students, to prove their aptitude in the field of IT and other futuristic careers across verticals.
Bhavishya Jyoti is one of India's most recognized and trusted scholarship programs with 25 years of market presence that has benefitted over 4.7 lakh students since its inception. It is a unique initiative by NIIT to recognize, empower and attract students in NIIT ecosystem and reward students desirous of building successful careers in diverse industries.
To enable students to pursue their dream careers, NIIT will reward fee waivers of up to Rs 50,000 across the country this year. NIIT will be offering over 10,000 scholarships for its popular IT and new-age career programs such as Banking, Digital Marketing, Analytics, Retail management, Information Technology, Finance & Accounting.
Students who have scored 50% in their XIIth/Graduation can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the students on the basis of their performance in their XIIth board exams. The last date
to apply for scholarship is September 14, 2015 for Maharashtra and 19th September for the rest of the country.

A recent survey suggested that hiring activities will go up by 15 % in sectors like IT, manufacturing and construction. With the Governments recent initiative like digital India, smart cities etc. a positive environment has been created in the market, which in turn has given rise to a fair amount of movement to the job scenario. The survey further revealed that the growth in hiring will mainly be in sectors like IT, ITES, BPO, Manufacturing, Construction and Engineering.
Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship awards fee waivers to meritorious undergraduate and graduates students desirous of building successful careers in diverse industries. The Scholarship was launched by NIIT in 1991, to enable financially challenged meritorious students to pursue careers in IT and other new-age programs.
