Dr Sanjay Verma

Vice President, Learning and Development and Head, Petrochemical Academy, Reliance Industries

Dr Sanjay Verma currently heads the Learning & Development and Petrochemical Academy at Reliance where he has been working for more than 7 years.

Prior to joining Reliance, Sanjay worked for over 8 years in Learning & Development across organizations like L&T Construction, HCL Technology, and NDPL, a Tata Power JV. He also served in the Indian army before joining the corporate fraternity.

Sanjay is a high-energy HR professional and a creative facilitator, skilled in guiding learners through engaging, breakthrough learning opportunities. He is certified in instruments like DiSC, Belbin, MBTI and Harrison Psychometric Assessments. He is also a certified coach by Results Coaching System, Australia.

Sanjay was also felicitated with the recognition of “25 Most Influential Training and Development Professionals” by World HRD Congress in February 2016. In Aug 2018, Sanjay became a certified Global Cultural Coach. He has been certified as a facilitator in Level 1, Level 2 and Unconscious Bias assessments by Cultural Intelligence Centre, USA.

In Aug 2017, he authored his first book “Corporate Cocktail”. He writes regularly on LinkedIn.
