Group Function Head (Vice President), Tech Mahindra

With over 2 decades of experience in leading the Learning function, Vaishali presently leads the Technical Learning and Development Team at Tech Mahindra globally and has been instrumental in devising and implementing the organization’s Capability Development Strategy, which is aligned with its vision and business goals.

Vaishali and her team ensure the Technical, Domain and Role-based professional competency development for the entire IT workforce at Tech Mahindra, and strive to meet the re-defined objectives of the Learning functions; these include building a future-ready workforce, enabling business growth through right capabilities, and supporting individual aspirations for career progression through learning and development.

Vaishali focuses on ‘Continuous Evolution of L&D Practices, Policies and Pedagogy’ in response to the disruption and transformation in IT industry over the decades. She has successfully implemented ‘DEXT: A New Age Learning Ecosystem’ which offers a scalable and sustainable learning experience.

Vaishali played a key role in integrating Tech Mahindra and Mahindra Satyam Learning functions, which included Learning systems, Learning Programs, Learning Policies, and most importantly, People Integration.

She has been a member of L&D Council for Mahindra Leadership University, and a member of Mahindra IT Academy and Mahindra Service Excellence Academy, offering programs pan-Mahindra Group. She is also a member of SSC NASSCOM Research Project Board.
