Sumit Madan is Senior Director & Chief Distribution Officer at Max Life Insurance Co.Ltd .He joined Max Life Insurance in February 2014.

Sumit is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in sales, retail liabilities, and branch banking. He began his journey in FMCG and credit cards before making significant contributions at Citibank, where he rose to the position of Regional Head for North India over a span of 13 years.

In 2016, Sumit took on the role of President & Chief, Branch Banking at AU Small Finance Bank, where he led a team of 4000+ individuals across various functions, contributing significantly to the bank's success, including overseeing its successful IPO. His expertise led him to IDFC First Bank in 2019, initially as the Head of Branch Banking, and later transitioning to lead Products, Digital, and Retail Liabilities in 2022. Throughout his career, Sumit has been dedicated to accelerating retail growth and maintaining a strategic vision, driving performance growth across key banking metrics.
