Gaurav Nigam is the Executive Vice President and Business Head at NIIT Limited, currently leading the BFSI and SSE businesses. His mandate focuses on strengthening NIIT’s position as a strategic skilling partner for India’s financial services ecosystem and emerging digital enterprises.

Gaurav brings over two decades of experience across banking, insurance, and education technology, with a strong track record of building high-performing businesses and driving large-scale transformation initiatives. Before taking on his current role, he successfully led NIIT’s BFSI training business, shaping outcome-led talent development solutions for leading banks and financial institutions.

Prior to joining NIIT, Gaurav held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Niva Bupa Health Insurance, Citibank India, Aviva, and ICICI Bank, where he was responsible for national sales, bancassurance, wealth management, and distribution strategies. This deep exposure to the financial services value chain enables him to design learning interventions that are tightly aligned with business outcomes and regulatory priorities.

Gaurav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Government Engineering College, Bhopal, and an MBA in Marketing from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.
