- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ cumulative paid work experience in information technology, including: 3 years in information security, 1 year in 1 or more of the 6 domains of the CCSP CBK
- Experience waivers: CSA’s CCSK certificate can substitute 1 year of experience in 1 or more CCSP CBK domains, ISC2’s CISSP credential can substitute for the entire CCSP experience requirement
- Earning ISC²’s CISSP credential can be substituted for the entire CCSP experience requirement.
