NIIT Digital is a Learner Experience Platform where a learner will have access to complete course-related information such as learner dashboard,  learning schedule, self-paced learning content, Live sessions, assessments,  faculty and learner engagement, batch group engagement, notifications, and other related delivery services as applicable to a course.

The platform facilitates ease of access through laptops and mobile devices for a rich experience. It can be accessed on the web through www.training.com.

Learner would have received a welcome mail from NIIT that contains the credentials to access NIIT Digital. If you do not have that mail then please utilize the “Forgot Password” option on NIIT Digital, login-id is your Student ID for example “S100000000023” which is mentioned on your Invoice / Payment Schedule, you will receive a link to reset the password on your registered email-id with NIIT.

NIIT digital can be accessed from Desktop, Laptop, and mobile devices.

Go to www.training.com, sign-in with your credentials.

Go to the Google Play Store or Apple AppStore, then search for NIIT Student APP, download and start using it with your credentials for NIIT Digital to sign-in.

Yes, it is available on Android and iOS.

Minimum 2 Mbps stable internet connection, preferably broadband.

If you face trouble post logging in you can raise a ticket using the query and responses option on the portal.

 

NIIT Digital is an online learning, internet-enabled initiative for the Learners. It is designed to give learners continued access to online classes from a location other than their Training Centre. In case you don’t have a connection, you could apply for a broadband internet connection through a vendor active in your area so you do not miss out on the online classes. If you still fail to avail of internet services, then you would have to wait for your NIIT Centre to reopen. Please note that the reopening of the center depends on the guidelines issued by the government. In case you do not have a computer, you can access NIIT Digital through your connected smartphone or tablet.

Yes. NIIT Digital is internet-enabled. The minimum requirements to access your online classes include a laptop/desktop with a webcam. The learner also need to arrange for a headphone/earphone with mic so they can spontaneously raise doubts during the online class.

 

The preferred language of communication will be English.

NIIT is an equal opportunity employer. The faculty assigned to teach your online batch could be from any part of India or a foreign country. Considering that English is understood by the vast majority of our students and teachers, you are requested to please communicate in English. All the classes conducted on NIIT Digital are live sessions. Internet connectivity, webcam, and mic-enabled headphones/earphones ensure the communication is two-way where the students can pose questions to the faculty and the faculty can address them in real-time. Additionally, each session is recorded and stored on the cloud. Learners will be provided in-App access to go through each class again, should they feel the need.

NIIT has well-defined eligibility guidelines for enrolling faculty in our panel of experts. This applies to all the faculty members of NIIT who have the requisite educational qualification to handle learner queries. However, NIIT Digital is an ad-hoc exercise that NIIT is following so that learners receive the guidance and training in a safe environment, considering the growing threat of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our moderators ensure the availability of faculty who were initially taking classes at NIIT Centre. If the same faculty is unavailable for some reason to take the online class, then an equally qualified faculty, meeting the standards of NIIT, will be arranged as a guest faculty.

Yes. NIIT Digital will not impose any restrictions for learners to log-in or log-out. Learners are strongly advised to log-in 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time and perform routine checks for internet connectivity, webcam and headphone/earphone mic. As you are attending the sessions from a remote location, we expect that you are self-disciplined and committed to learning.

NIIT Digital will provide access to an entire library of recorded video sessions. If you missed out on a part during the live-session or want to revise the concepts again, you can do so from this section.

Attendance will be tracked through the learner log that NIIT will maintain based upon the log-in and log-out times of the learners.

NIIT Digital will conduct proctored examinations, where the exam duration will be pre-fixed, supervised by remote invigilators (called proctors) to ensure the integrity of the learner and the test-taking environment.

Exam absentees should apply for supplementary examinations. For further information on the subject, please refer to your student academic policy.

NIIT faculty would shortlist the requisite software to carry out the lab exercises. Learners should submit the same upon completion to the faculty for assessment and feedback during the live-session.

The faculty will share the details of such software requirements with the learners in advance. The same can be downloaded from the Internet by the learners. Similarly, access to specific applications like Finacle and Tally will be provided by NIIT Digital. Please note, NIIT does not take responsibility for software enablement and installation at the user end. Such software is the third party and may or may not be compatible/configurable with the device being run on from the remote location.

Evaluation and feedback will be taken care of by the assigned online faculty.

Online faculty will be your first point of contact during the live sessions. Learners have two alternatives for raising and clarifying doubts. First, they may post their questions in the Chat Window during the live session. When facing subject-related difficulties after/before the online sessions, learners can post doubts in the NIIT Student App, available on the App Store. Please note, that trainer-replies from this route may or may not be in real-time.

Yes, the sessions will be considered as part of the certification for the course you have registered for.

NIIT Digital is an ad-hoc exercise that NIIT is following so that learners receive the guidance and training in a safe environment, considering the growing threat of the Coronavirus pandemic. In view of such circumstances, the certificate handed out to learners upon clearing the proctored examination (should we reach that stage) via NIIT Digital, will be the same as the one, they would have been rewarded at their designated NIIT Centre.

Yes. Learners are requested to download the NIIT Student App where they are free to interact with their peers. Please note that this is a public forum and conversation/discussion threads will be open to all. For conversations that the learner classifies “private” in nature, they are advised to utilize other messenger apps available on the App Store.

It will be an online classroom with a group of learners.

NIIT strongly believes in honoring the terms of the agreement, as attested by the learner during the enrollment process for classroom training. Therefore, if the terms and conditions of the agreement state that Placement Assistance is part of their designated programme, then the learner is liable to be offered the same through NIIT Digital.

Learners will not incur any extra charges, other than their original fee structure, for availing online classes through NIIT Digital.

Such an arrangement of learning is being facilitated in conjunction with government directives for education institutions. Learners reserve the right to either attend online classes or wait for their NIIT Training Centre to resume operations. Neither scenario will impact the fee structure that the learner is accorded to pay towards the services rendered by NIIT.

Your designated NIIT training Centre has been shut temporarily but indefinitely following the threat of community transmission of the Coronavirus. The same is in lines with directives issued by the incumbent government. Learners reserve the right to not attend NIIT Digital online sessions, however, NIIT cannot commit to a date for resumption of classroom training at the NIIT Training Centre.
