Who can be eligible for placements at NIIT ?

Placement Assistance is available for select programs and you will be informed of the same at the time of enrollment. Each program has a pre defined eligibility criteria. This is based on the program performance, 10th, 12th and Graduation percentage. Year of passing and age and other requirements as defined for the Placement Assisted Programs.

What is the placement process at NIIT?

After successful completion of the program and meeting the defined performance levels in the program and Academics, you may apply for placement assistance by submitting the relevant documents. The student is also expected to clear the placement screening process at the end of program.

How can I apply for placement assistance ?

You may apply for NIIT Placement Assistance by meeting your Placement officer or centre team for initiating the process. You will also need to apply through your portal and submitting all relevant documents.

Can I apply for Placement Assistance at other locations ?

Yes, you may apply for placement assistance PAN India. Your placement officer will assist you with the process and all relevant information. However, all travel and stay arrangement is the student responsibility.

How does NIIT prepare me for the interviews ?

NIIT prepares you for Placements by prescribing a grooming schedule for you. This will include a series of preparatory sessions to prepare you for the interview process in an organisation. This includes Aptitude preparation, Resume building, Technical tests and interview, Mock Interview and more.

How many interviews can I expect from NIIT?

NIIT will share at least 3 job opportunities with you and you are expected to avail all opportunities shared with you by staying in touch with the placement team.

At what stage of my program should I start preparing for placements?

You should start preparing for your placements right from the beginning of the course by preparing to score well in your program and all other preparatory sessions organised with you.

Till when may I avail Placement assistance from NIIT ?

For every couse/program, there is a standard prescribed duration and the maximum duration in which you are expected to successfully complete the program and avail all services associated with the program including Certificate and Placement Assistance. This maximum duration for a program is referred to as SOL (Statue of Limitation).
