1.0 DEFINITIONS
The following words and expressions shall, unless the context requires otherwise, have the following meanings as set out below:
“Assessment” – means various forms of tests that are conducted to evaluate the learning outcomes for each Learner in the Program.
“Attendance” -means attending the Live Virtual connect sessions by a learner, for a significant part of the planned duration.
“Award/Title” – is the certificate conferred to a Learner in the form of a digitally verifiable document, upon successful completion of the Program and meeting all the required prerequisites for conferring the same.
“Batch” – is launched to facilitate the execution of a Program. A Batch is identified with its unique Batch Code, and its other attributes such as days and time of execution, planned start date, and projected end date. Candidates are allocated a batch, to learn and complete the respective program.
“Candidate”- shall mean an individual meeting the Eligibility Criteria of the program.
“Career Guidance” – shall mean the Candidates are provided support in creating their online portfolio, LinkedIn profiling, and soft skill workshop.
“Certificate” – is the digitally verifiable document issued to the Learner upon completing the Program and meeting the required prerequisites as applicable for completion of the said Program.
“Credential” – shall include all the documents certifying the age, address, degree certificate, etc. obtained by the Candidate. The Candidate shall be required to produce the original of the Credentials if required by NIIT or the Prospective Employer.
“Eligibility Criteria”- shall mean the eligibility criteria that the Candidate must meet before he/she applies for the program.
“Learner” – shall mean the Candidate who has taken admission in the said program at NIIT as per the admission criteria and evaluation process.
“Learning Portal”- Learners will be able to access the needful resources at the Learning Portal or Learning Management System (LMS) after enrolment. Learners’ access to the Learning Portal will be governed by the terms and conditions, which are available on the Portal.
“NIIT” – shall mean NIIT Ltd, having its registered office at 85, Sector 32, Institutional Area, Gurugram, Haryana 122001.
“Offer Letter”- shall mean a letter issued by a Prospective Employer offering gainful engagement/employment to the Learner, to join their organization from a particular date and for a particular position.
“Payment Option” – shall mean any of the opted Payment plans as mentioned on the program page of the NIIT website.
“Placement”- shall mean the offer of engagement/employment from a Prospective Employer by issuing an Offer Letter.
“Placement Assistance” – shall mean providing the placement selection opportunities (maximum 3) with the organizations to the Candidate who has duly complied with the mentioned Terms & Conditions.
“Procedure”- shall mean the procedure to be followed by the Candidate for his/her Placement.
“Program”- shall mean the program mentioned in the applicability section for which the Learner has taken admission at NIIT.
“Program Fee” – shall mean the total fee for the program payable by the Learner for the services opted with the program, including Admission, Tuition Fee, Placement Fee, and Funding Charges (if applicable). Applicable taxes to be paid on and above the Program Fee.
“Prospective Employer”- shall mean the third-party organization who may issue the Offer Letter to the Candidate for his/her Placement.
“Admission Validity Period and Statute of Limitation (SOL)”- This is the period, for which the admission is valid for the learner. The validity period will be different for different programs and admission category. Learner can obtain the title of the program and any applicable placement services within this period.
2.0 APPLICABILITY
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) shall apply to all the ‘Learners’ taking admission to The Post Graduate Program in Banking Sales and Relationship Management. The enrolled Learner is bound by the rules, regulations, timings, administrative procedures, and discipline requirements as applicable and must necessarily comply with the program guidelines.
4.0 PROGRAM ADMISSION
The candidate needs to apply for the program by filling the online application form on www.niit.com/India. It is implied that the Candidate is fully aware of the eligibility requirements and program details mentioned on the website and then applying for the program.
The Candidate needs to submit/upload the scanned copies of the following documents and produce the originals for verification when required.
In the event of non-submission and/or being unable to produce the originals and/or discrepancy in the documents/information furnished by the Candidate, the admission will be withheld/cancelled anytime at the sole discretion of NIIT with no refund of the fee paid.
Selection to the program is based on the performance in the Admission Test (which may include Aptitude Test, Language Test, and Personal Interview, etc.).
Selected Candidates will receive the Admission Selection Letter by email, post which they would need to pay the applicable program fee on or before the last date mentioned in the letter.
The Admission selection letter is not transferable and does not guarantee the seat unless the registration formalities are completed within the last date mentioned in the letter or before the admissions are closed for the batch, whichever is earlier.
The registration is for a specific Program and for a specific batch with a defined delivery schedule only. Therefore, the admission is valid for the specific program, batch, and period. The candidate is expected to complete the program as per the batch schedule within this period.
Due to unavoidable reasons if the batch start date is revised to a later date or advanced, the admission validity period will be revised accordingly. Candidates will be informed through email about the change in the batch start date. Any Candidate having an objection to the revised schedule may write to customercarebfsi@niit.com and discuss alternate options, which may include the cancellation of admission. In the absence of any objection raised, it is construed as acceptance of the changes. NIIT will not be responsible for any financial damages/claims due to such changes.
Candidates can’t take any Break from the program once the batch has started or deferred the admission to a later batch. For any unavoidable reasons, if the batch is changed the Candidates may have to pay the applicable convenience charges. In case of batch change, the days and timings of the changed batch may be different from the current batch and NIIT does not guarantee the same batch schedule.
5.0 FOREIGN NATIONALS
Admission to NIIT programs is open for learners residing in India only.
Foreign nationals residing in India seeking admission need to upload /email a copy of the Valid Passport, Valid Student Visa for staying and studying in India, Valid registration with FRRO, and residential address proof to customercarebfsi@niit.com.
If Placement Assistance is a part of the program offering, then for the foreign nationals, the Placement service will not be applicable.
In case of any cancellation of the admission, the refund amount (if applicable) will be refunded to the same source account through which the initial fee has been paid.
The onus of having all the valid documents, submitting the copies of the same to NIIT, and producing the originals on demand, lies solely with the Candidate. Noncompliance of the same shall lead to legal consequences as per law.
6.0 LOAN FACILITY
NIIT, in the best interest of the Candidates, has enabled loan facilities in association with the private Finance Companies (3rd Party Lenders). The Loan approval will be subject to the Learner’s eligibility as determined by the Lender. The loan facility is applicable for select programs only.
Availing the loan through the 3rd party Lender is optional and as per the personal decision of any Candidate. Candidates can also register in the program by paying the full fee without availing of the loan or they can avail of loan from any other sources.
Candidates should read and understand all the terms and conditions (including the interest rates, EMI amount, foreclosure, etc.) applicable before availing of the loan and choose the Lender to avail the loan. The loan agreement is between the Candidate and the Lender and NIIT has no role in the Loan Process.
Candidates availing of the loan, need to pay the applicable booking fee to NIIT within the due date as mentioned in the Admission Selection Letter to reserve the seat in the selected batch.
The balance program fee needs to be paid after the loan is processed. Registration to the program is confirmed only on payment of the full fees.
If there is any delay in the loan process, and the registration formalities are not completed before the last date of admission for the batch, then the Candidate will be accommodated in the next available batch at the time of registration. NIIT will not be responsible for any delay in either loan processing or loan disbursement by the loan provider.
If the Candidate’s loan application is not approved, then the Candidate can pay the balance fee and register for the program. If the Candidate is not able to pay the requisite fee, then he/she can apply for a refund of the booking fee. Candidate will be eligible for the refund of the booking fees after deducting Rs 2,000.00 + GST non-refundable fee. The Refund will be processed within 45 working days after approval and the amount will be credited to the Candidate’s bank account. The refund of the booking fee is only possible if the loan is rejected by the Lender and not if the Candidate wants to withdraw the admission offer.
Candidates availing of a loan may need to pay an applicable loan processing fee as applicable to the Lender at the time of loan approval. Candidates should pay their EMIs directly to the 3rd party loan provider.
For Loan closure or cancellation of the loan application, or any dispute related to the loan, the Candidate is required to contact the Lender directly and NIIT has no role in the same.
7.0 REGISTRATION CANCELLATION / REFUNDS
Rs 2,000.00 + GST of the total fee paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the registration process is not completed within the due date.
The Learner can cancel the registration or withdraw from the Program at any time.
If the cancellation request is submitted before 48 hrs before the batch start date, the Learner is entitled to a full refund after deducting the non-refundable fee, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes.
If the cancellation request is submitted on or after the batch start date (even if the Candidate did not attend any session and or did not avail of any services), there will be no refund applicable.
If the cancellation of registration is due to delay/revision in starting the batch (program) from the scheduled start date or the batch/program is cancelled, then the Learner will be eligible for a full fee refund.
If the Learner decides to discontinue the program after the batch has started, the learner will carry the liability of paying the full program fee and there will be no refund of the program fee already paid. If the Learner has availed any loan towards the program fee, then the closure of the loan needs to be discussed with the lender directly.
If the Learner is eligible for any refund and the Learner has availed the loan facility, then the refund amount will be paid to the learner after settling the outstanding loan amount with the Loan Provider. The refund will be made to the Learner’s bank account only.
There will be no refund on cancellation of registration due to disciplinary action initiated against the Learner.
8.0 PROGRAM PEDAGOGY
The Program is completely delivered through Online live Instructor led mode. Additionally, Learner needs to undergo self-paced e-learning modules.
The Program focusses on skill building with extensive pre-reads & videos. NIIT believes that by completing all activities as per the program design; every individual learner will acquire the necessary skills to be job ready.
The Program content imparts required domain knowledge and is interwoven with relevant functional, behavioural, professional, selling, and customer service skills and Technology.
All Digital contents access provided by NIIT is strictly for the use of the Learner during the program only and cannot be copied or replicated or electronically transmitted or misused in any manner.
The medium of instruction in the program will be in English only.
9.0 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The learner should abide by the program’s academic milestones and all other guidelines governing the execution and completion of the program. The Learner undertakes to put in his best effort towards improving skills and knowledge by learning from the registered program.
The duration of the Program is 186 Hrs. of Online training.
The program is planned for 6 hours per day 6 days a week. However, NIIT may alter the pace of the Program. The pace of the program may vary from batch to batch. Under such a scenario, the number of days/week and number of hours/days may change accordingly. Any change in pace of the Program post Batch commencement shall be communicated to the Learner by NIIT. In case it is inconvenient for a Learner, then an appropriate solution shall be provided on a case-to-case basis. In case the program pace is increased, the calendar time will reduce, and the instalment payment schedule will be realigned accordingly. Change of the program pace does not alter the loan schedule as the loan is through a 3rd party NBFC and is independent of the NIIT program.
The Learner must honour the financial obligation even if he/she decides to discontinue the program at any time.
10.0 ASSESSMENTS
11.0 CERTIFICATION
NIIT certificate shall be awarded to Learners who have completed the Program subject to the condition mentioned in table below.

The certificate will be in digital form and will be downloadable from learner’s Dashboard of niit.com post completion of Program. It will also be emailed to the Learners on their registered Email ID.
12.0 PLACEMENT
NIIT offers Placement Service as an allied service to all the successfully completed the Post Graduate program in Banking Sales and Relationship Management program. This service is free and optional. Placement Service is applicable to the Learners as per the criteria and rules mentioned below:

All eligible Learners shall be provided with up to 3 placement opportunities within 90 days of successful completion of the program in any of the Private Sector Banks, NBFC or related organisations.
As part of Placement Assistance, NIIT’s responsibility is to provide with the suitable job opportunities based on the Learner profile, and the learner responsibility is to prepare well, and perform well in the selection process in order to gain employment.

Since Placement Assistance is a Free Service provided to the Learners, and is optional, there is no refund of the fee associated with this service. The learner is not entitled to any refund once NIIT has deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Service towards the Learner under any of the above circumstances including Learner being expelled on disciplinary grounds.
13.0 DIGITAL DEVICES
The Learner needs to have their own desktop or laptop computer (refer to www.niit.com for requisite configuration), Webcam, Headset with echo cancellation mic, broadband Internet connectivity with minimum 20MBPS, and Uninterrupted Power Supply to join this program.
Registration to the Program implies that the Learner has the requisite infrastructure as per the details mentioned in the product webpage/ Program brochure. Not having the requisite hardware and connectivity will affect the learning.
The Learner is responsible to arrange their own resources (hardware/software/connectivity) as required to attend the Program.
The Learner is fully responsible for the proper functioning of the computer hardware and internet access.
NIIT is not responsible for the charges incurred for the usage of hardware, software, or internet services provider fees.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any hardware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is not responsible for the same.
14.0 SOFTWARE
NIIT will only provide the details of the software required for the Program. It will be the responsibility of the Learners to arrange for the necessary open-source or licensed software and install it on their devices. Not having the requisite software will affect the learning.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any software, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and NIIT is not responsible for the same.
15.0 LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
As part of the program, NIIT will provide access to the online LMS through the www.niit.com portal.
The LMS will have the facility to attend online sessions, access to digital learning materials, session recordings , assignments, and Learning Plan as applicable for the program.
The access to the Learning Management System (LMS) is limited to the duration of the program or until the batch is completed. Once the program or batch is completed, learners will not be able to access any of these resources.

16.0 COMMUNICATION
To keep the Learner informed and updated about the learning, and other services, NIIT may communicate with the Learner through anyone/or all means such as SMS/Call (at registered mobile number), email (at registered email-ID), or by post (at residential address) or message on LMS.
All such communications sent to the Learner are considered acknowledged and read.
It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in their details, by writing to the helpdesk at customercarebfsi@niit.com.
Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program at NIIT, they have given the consent to NIIT to use their personal information which includes mobile number, email id, and residential address for communicating with them, at present and in the future as well.
Learner confirms that laws in relation to the unsolicited communication referred in National Do Not Call Registry (the “NDNC Registry” and “DND”) as laid down by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will not be applicable for such communication/ calls/ SMS received from NIIT, its employees, agents and/or associates.

17.0 DISCIPLINE
Learners are required to adhere to the norms of discipline and decorum during the Online Sessions. Non-adherence to the same may result in consequential penal action, which may even include cancellation of Admission.
Any Learner who is found using unfair means during online examinations, or while doing hands-on assignments and assessments, by indulging in activities like copying, discussions, using technology-based instruments, or other means to cheat, will be debarred from the further continuation of the Program.
There will be Zero tolerance towards any form of copying. Mentors’ decision is final in cases of plagiarism.
Indiscipline shall include, but not be limited to misbehaviour, nuisance, brawl, use of foul language in the online chat forums, posting objectionable material in the Learning Management System (LMS), use of unfair means at the time of assessments, being drunk, having consumed narcotics substances, and indulging in any act or omission which amounts to discouraging / demeaning/ hampering the program structure during the Online Sessions.
NIIT expects the Learner to resolve all matters relating to the enrolled program, delivery, fees, scholarship (if any), and placement; directly with the NIIT designated officer. Any attempt to bring any outside influence directly/or indirectly – upon any NIIT authority or NIIT Partner Organization (if any) to further impact Learner’s interests, in respect of matters pertaining to the association with NIIT and NIIT Services with any Partner Organization; would amount to a breach of admission contract and academic norms. It would lead to debarring the Learner from availing further services from NIIT and thus will lead to the initiation of appropriate action.
During the course of Learner’s association with NIIT, the Learner will not take part in any demonstration/agitation against NIIT and its officials for/or on behalf of any external bodies/political outfits – either as a member or a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above would be treated as prejudicial to the interest and reputation of the institute leading to the initiation of appropriate action.
NIIT expects the Learner to notify NIIT officials immediately with the past and current details of any civil or criminal case(s) instituted against the Learner in any Court of Law or any complaint/show cause notice/prosecution with/by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, as also the Learner will notify any outcome of such complaint to NIIT in writing. Any act in breach of this term or suppression of facts would entail initiation of appropriate action as deemed fit by NIIT/Partner Organization.
18.0 PRIVACY POLICY
Learners are also supposed to abide by the privacy policy, the terms and conditions mentioned in the LMS, and NIIT Student App at all times. Any unethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation of admission and forfeiture of the Program fee.
19.0 GENDER SENSITIZATION
NIIT does not discriminate or encourage any kind of sexual harassment of women employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealt with, as per the law.
20.0 MEDICAL FITNESS
Candidates enrolling in the program, confirm the understanding that this program is being offered through online admission and the training is delivered online, and they are medically fit to undergo the same without any constraints.
If the Candidate is eligible for any Placement Services, the placement of the Candidate post completing the program successfully is subject to the candidate clearing the medical fitness requirements of the recruiting organization.
If the Candidate is unable to clear/satisfy the medical requirements, NIIT will not be responsible for the placement of the Candidate and there will be no refund of the program fee. In such cases, NIIT shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations towards the learner’s placement.
21.0 AMENDMENTS
NIIT reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw or substitute any of the terms and conditions without any prior notice.
The changes may be necessitated due to NIIT’s focus on continuous improvement of the processes and services, research and development in the methodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements, and statutory compliances.
All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section of the LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.
The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.
22.0 FORCE MAJEURE
NIIT shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance of any of its obligations under the Agreement when such delay or failure arises from events or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of NIIT (including, without limitation, acts of God, fire, flood, war, explosion, sabotage, terrorism, embargo, civil commotion, economic crisis, recession, acts or omissions of any government entity, supplier delays, communications or power failure, equipment or software malfunction, or labour disputes).
23.0 LEARNER’S UNDERTAKING
The candidate understands that the application form is to be filled by them only and they are responsible for the correctness and completeness of the information provided including the supporting documents. The candidate also understands and agrees that in case if the details provided are found to be incorrect / misrepresented at any time, the admission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of the fee paid.
A Candidate paying the requisite program fee and registering for the program confirms that the Candidate / Learner has read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions as mentioned in this document and www.niit.com website and has not relied on any other oral representation by the NIIT team or any 3rd party.
24.0 DISCLAIMER

He received his degree in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, and joined KELTRON, a Kerala government startup electronic products company, where he worked for eight years in marketing, product management, sales of electronic industrial products, and design, installation, and commissioning of electronic automation and control of thermal power stations.
He serves on the Board of Management of the not-for-profit NIIT University in Neemrana, Rajasthan. He is also actively engaged with the not-for-profit NIIT Foundation, which addresses the skilling and livelihood needs of youth from the underserved segments of society.

During this period, he took charge, learned the role, improved the business and order book, organically & inorganically, streamlined the Stackroute business in India, and led the company through the recent difficult pandemic times with determination and perseverance. Udai Singh Pawar did his undergraduate studies at IIT Kanpur graduating in 2005 with an Integrated Masters in Physics.
After interning at the MIT Media Lab, in Boston, and ARRI Cinema R&D, in Munich, Udai worked at the Microsoft Research Lab in Bangalore, focusing on Technology for Education. He earned multiple US patents and published over a dozen research papers on his fieldwork in rural government schools. Microsoft USA innovated a few innovations during his tenure, and released it worldwide, as an SDK for educational software.
Shifting to film-making in 2010, he started as the Chief Assistant Director to prominent filmmaker Sudhir Mishra on multiple projects, including India’s first fully digital feature film. Following this, as Associate Director on the successful war movie ‘Airlift,’. His responsibilities included planning and execution of the scheduling and logistics, and balancing the budget against creative requirements by the novel use of CGI, as well as deep logistical planning & systems that were fresh and innovative for the film industry ecosystem.
Recently, he wrote and directed the acclaimed Netflix Original film ‘Upstarts’. He researched the Bangalore start-up ecosystem, based on his personal experiences as well as research and close interactions with dozens of start-up founders. Post that, he wrote a show for JioCinema where he was nominated for a Filmfare award. He has also produced a marquee show for SonyLIV set in 1970s India.
With his passion for interdisciplinary technology and art, Udai is also involved in angel investing in some start-ups. He's also working on his future film projects, focusing on OTT platforms.

Pradeep Narayanan is the president of NIIT Digital and Growth Initiatives, NIIT Limited. Pradeep is considered a pioneer in franchising the education business and is one of the most respected figures in the retail IT education business. In his first stint at NIIT, Pradeep was heading NIIT's retail education business in India. This involved setting up education centers all over the world - right from the incorporation of local companies, to hiring people, establishing local partnerships and designing and implementing products and marketing & sales plans, and being responsible for the P&L of the business.

Udai is the President of Generative AI at NIIT Limited. During his tenure at NIIT, spanning 4 decades, Udai has led the design & implementation of numerous technology-enabled learning innovations and set up new businesses to take these ideas to market. He helped set up NetVarsity.com, one of the world’s earliest online learning portals in 1996, became its CTO in 2000, and ran NIIT Online Learning Limited till 2003 as its COO. Kamal Dhuper is the President of NIIT China, a subsidiary of NIIT Limited. NIIT offers multi-disciplinary learning management and training delivery solutions to corporations, institutions, and individuals in over 30 countries.
Kamal has served NIIT in India and China for over 30 years. He began his journey at NIIT Dehradun from 1992 to 1995, after which he moved to NIIT in Delhi. During his time in Delhi from 1995 to 2002, Kamal performed multiple roles in direct marketing, channel management, sales, and marketing coordination, as well as own center profitability management at regional and national levels. These responsibilities were part of India's Individual Learning Solutions business.
Between 2003 and 2005, Kamal served in the corporate office as a Senior Business Manager, working closely with Co-founder, Vijay Thadani. In this role, Kamal was responsible for coordinating strategy planning, budgeting, and business reviews with Independent Business Units (IBUs). He also provided support to NIIT China's business from India during this time.
In July 2005, Kamal relocated to Shanghai, China, with his family and took on the position of Regional Manager for the East, Central, and South China regions. In 2006, he was given the overall responsibility for operations of NIIT China, including sales, marketing, business development, and delivery operations. Since 2016, Kamal has been independently handling NIIT China's business.

Dr. Mita Brahma is the HR Head, of NIIT Limited and has experience of more than 30 years spans the consulting, software, banking, and education sectors.
Mita has worked in different areas of retail, corporate, and institutional banking with the State Bank of India. She has headed the Human Resource function at Nucleus Software Exports Ltd and led large organizational development initiatives with Grow Talent, a consulting services organization. Some of the areas in which she has led projects are real-time strategic change, leadership assessment & development, goal alignment and deployment, organization design, and workplace technologies.
