International School, Bhubaneswar—to offer its integrated computer education
program, ‘e-guru’ to the school children. NIIT will offer holistic IT education
and IT assisted education program to the children in the city’s premier school.
The program will range from infrastructure consultancy to facilities management,
in addition to validated multimedia content mapped to school curriculum,
courseware, assessment and certification of students. A joint press meet was
organized by the SAI International School and NIIT.

Championship, under ‘NIIT MindChampions Academy’, a joint initiative with World
Chess Champion and NIIT Brand Ambassador Viswanathan Anand, in SAI International
School. To further engage the young minds, NIIT will also introduce its ‘Digital
Art Festival’ among the students enabling them to participate in this national
level contest to showcase their creative talent by painting using
computers.
NIIT e-Guru—a unique teaching learning solution, which assists the teacher
in explaining difficult concepts in the most lucid fashion and enables the
students to learn them in an equally memorable way, will be used for the first
time in Orissa by any school. It has in-built mathematical solutions like
Geometers Sketch Pad (GSP)—a popular mathematics software used in teaching and
learning mathematics across the world. The program is based on interactivity of
the content enabling the teachers to explain and students to understand concepts
clearly.
IT wizard programme trains kids through a unique 4A methodology, supported
by faculty specially trained by NIIT. NIIT offers certification to students and
periodic assessment by experts. This is a specially designed courseware which
enables teachers to teach and student to learn computers in a unique way.
