The objective of this program is to build a pool of  Value Bankers for ICICI Bank, who can sustain the growing momentum of the sector and help it achieve new levels of profitability and customer responsiveness. To that end, expert faculty from industry, have designed a comprehensive portfolio of training programs and developed relevant course content that hones the soft and hard skills needed by new-age banks, thus creating first-day-first-hour industry-ready entry-level professionals.  In short, a modern banking professional, for a modern banking sector! 
The assignments and nature of work, as part of the internship and final placement, allotted to the student are sole prerogative of ICICI Bank. Sales is an essential part of the role. The Program internship will be combination of both Sales and Service.

Post Graduate Diploma in Sales and Relationship Banking is for Learners who: 

  • Age should be between 19- 25 years at the time of admission to the program.
  • Scored >= 50% aggregate in X, XII, and Graduation.
  • X, XII & Graduation should be in Regular mode
  • Must possess PAN card and Aadhaar card & submit copy of the same at the time of selection process.
  • Candidates with CA, CS, ICWA (professional) degrees are not eligible for the program.
  • No year gap in academics is allowed between 10th till Graduation.
  • Candidate with 0-2 years of work experience can also, apply.
  • Candidates with Prior experience with ICICI Group (for any duration) will not be eligible.
  • No blood relative/spouse should be studying through NIIT IFBI / ICICI programs.
  • No blood relative/spouse should be currently working with ICICI Group.
  • Candidate should not have any educational history with NIIT IFBI, ICICI Bank Skills Academy or Probationary Officer program.
  • ICICI Bank does not encourage applications (or puts special conditions) for enrolments of Graduates / PG from certain campuses. These are called as Tiered Campuses.  Also there is blacklisted list of colleges shared by ICICI Bank. Enrolments from those colleges should not be entertained as well.
  • Any applicant, who has done Engineering or MBA, from Non tiered campus may be sourced with an extra undertaking,

Who should join this course?

Graduates from any stream (with or without work experience) with age between 19-25 years (at the training start date) and who are interested to have a rewarding career in ICICI Bank.

What is the selection process?

Candidates will need to appear for IFBI Common Entrance Test (ICET) (which tests Numerical Comprehension, Verbal Comprehension, Series Completion & Basic aptitude), ICICI Bank Sales Profiler Test (that checks a candidate’s aptitude for sales profiles), English Proficiency Test (where student’s basic English writing skills are evaluated) followed by Personal Interview. A candidate who clears all the above rounds is eligible to register for the program.

What is the job role post successful completion of the course?

The program comes with offer of placement from ICICI Bank. On successful completion of the course, the candidates will be absorbed in the bank but the exact assignment and nature of the work will be sole prerogative of ICICI Bank. Sales will be an essential feature of all the possible roles.r.

Post Graduate Diploma in Sales and Relationship Banking

P.S. NISM Series V-A preparation will be covered in the course curriculum. But it is up to the individual student to register and sit for the certification on his/her own. NIIT will play no role in the actual certification.
