NIIT adjudged Award Finalist for the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards for Learning Solutions, Innovative Partner of the Year
New Delhi, July 3, 2009: NIIT, leading Global Talent Development Corporation and Asia’s largest IT Trainer, today announced that it has been selected as a 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards finalist in Learning Solutions, Innovative Partner of the Year.
Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of nearly 2,000 entrants worldwide. NIIT’s ‘Integrated Program for Developing Skills and Certification on.NET – GNIIT’ has been selected by Microsoft as one of the two finalists for Partner of the Year, in the category, Learning Solutions Innovative Partner of the Year. The Learning Solutions, Innovative Partner of the Year award recognizes partners’ commitment and ability to deliver high-quality innovative learning services to meet customer needs. It also validates the effect of technical training, skills assessment, student mentoring, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) exam preparation on customer satisfaction, and the application of Microsoft technology to solve business problems.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards recognizes Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. NIIT’s alliance with Microsoft for this integrated program addresses the need for skilled and ready manpower on growing areas like Application Development and Infrastructure Management. Around 30, 000 students have been trained as part of this program and over 18, 000 students have acquired MS Certification, in the last 12 months.
