Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)

Eligibility for the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification requires a minimum of 5 years of work experience in information systems auditing, IT security, and controls. Candidates may qualify for an experience waiver of up to 3 years: one year of general information systems experience or one year of non-IS auditing experience can substitute for one year of the required CISA experience. Additionally, a 3- or 4-year degree can substitute for one or two years of experience, respectively, while a Master’s degree in IS or IT from a reputed university can substitute for one year of the required experience.

Admission to the program is direct. Eligible learners can apply by filling out the online application form, submitting the self-declaration and accepting the terms and conditions, and paying the program fee. Admission is confirmed once the payment is successfully completed.

Learners need a laptop or desktop with Intel i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 (or higher), at least 8 GB RAM, and 50 GB free disk space, along with a functional webcam and microphone. The system should run Windows 10 or macOS (or higher) with the latest Chrome or Edge browser, MS Office or equivalent tools, and a PDF reader installed. A stable Wi-Fi or broadband connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps is required, and a backup internet connection is recommended.

RPS Consulting, a subsidiary of NIIT, delivers authorized training in partnership with leading technology providers. Learners receive a course completion certificate, while official OEM certifications (such as AWS, Microsoft, or Cisco) are awarded by the respective vendors upon passing their exams.

Course fees typically cover training and learning resources only. The OEM certification exam fee (such as AWS, Microsoft, or Cisco) is usually not included and must be paid separately to the respective vendor.
