NIIT awarded Learning and Performance Institute Accreditation for commitment to high quality and process improvement in learning, development and training services

  Emerges as a leading Corporate Training provider through significant wins in North America, Europe & India during the first 9 months of FY17

New Delhi, India and London, United Kingdom, January 5, 2017: NIIT Limited, a global leader in skills and talent development, and a leading provider of managed training services announced today that it has been awarded the status of Accredited Learning Provider for its commitment to high quality and process improvement in the provision of learning, development and training services to clients by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), UK.

LPI is the global membership body for learning professionals and organisations, whose aim is to raise the profile of those in the workplace learning sector by sharing and celebrating the knowledge, experience and skills of their members and accredited partners. LPI accreditation is the globally-recognized quality mark for providers of learning products, technologies, services and facilities. Out of the 14 Key Performance Indicators that each provider is measured against, NIIT scored 100% on 10 of them and above average on most indicators.

The Corporate Learning Group (CLG) of NIIT has had the most successful customer and new business acquisition period during the first 9 months of FY17 as compared to the similar period of past few years, following recent multi-year contracts. During this fiscal year, NIIT's CLG business has added 5 new multi-year contracts and 4 renewals in the Telecom, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, Technology, Manufacturing, Energy, and Mining sectors.

NIIT's corporate learning business grew at a robust 23% YOY as recorded in Q2 FY17. The international Corporate Learning Group (CLG) that contributed 60% to the overall revenue of NIIT in Q2, offers world-class corporate learning and managed training services (MTS) to leading Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

With a proven global track record and strategic partnerships with many market-leading clients in North America and Europe, NIIT has charted out an aggressive strategy to emerge as one of the leading corporate training providers in India. NIIT's strategy is to bring the same best-of-breed, comprehensive managed training services to meet the needs of discerning corporate customers in India, across all domains, with a focus on large local and multi-national companies. The LPI accreditation is independent and international acknowledgment for NIIT as a forward-thinking, reputable provider, committed to learner outcomes, performance development and customer satisfaction.

Corporate Learning in India additionally contributed 10% to NIIT's revenue as recorded in Q2 FY17.  This took the overall contribution of corporate training to NIIT's global revenue to 70% in Q2. NIIT is already working with leading Indian corporates like Wipro, ICICI, Genpact, Reliance, Vodafone, Gionee, Ericsson, Maruti-Suzuki, Deloitte among many other blue-chip Indian & MNC firms in the country, offering services like Technology Training, Sales Enablement Training, Soft Skills Training, and Source-Train-Hire services across sectors. With the launch of StackRoute, NIIT has also reinforced its leadership position as a pioneer in meeting the future skill needs of the IT sector.
