NIIT LAUNCHES SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS TO DEVELOP HUMAN CAPITAL IN MALAYSIA
Partners with CISCO to ‘Skill Up’ Malaysia
- Brings together Technology Giants to Empower Students for a Global Career in IT
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur/ New Delhi, March 25, 2010: NIIT, leading Global Talent Development Corporation and Asia’s largest IT Trainer, has launched specialized training programs in partnership with CISCO to develop human capital in Malaysia. This was announced at the first ever Technology Partner Conclave held recently. The Conclave was jointly organized by the Institute of Professional Development, Open University Malaysia as a part of ‘SKILL UP’ – Malaysia campaign to build a task force of skilled IT professionals across various sectors.
Technology leaders participating in the conclave discussed about the current industry trends and requirements where every company wants day one ready professionals and how this is leading to a rise in demand for Industry-ready IT professionals. The conclave focused on the need to train and skill up students in order to meet the industry standards.
At the Conclave, NIIT unveiled customized products with its technology partner CISCO, for the Malaysian market. NIIT’s other technology partners and IT giants like Microsoft and Sun Microsystems also participated in the conclave. The conclave aimed to educate students and build awareness about latest tools and technologies, careers in IT and the need to skill up.
