5G mobile network is the new global wireless standard. This innovative technology with features such as Enhanced Mobile Broadband, Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication and Massive IoT, is transforming today’s mobile networks. 5G networks have been made commercially available in many parts of the world and this will be soon followed across the world including India. The Government of India is expediting the inclusive implementation of 5G technologies and leading Indian telecom companies have already announced their plans for 5G rollout. This programme represents a unique opportunity for Indian students and professionals to build and leverage their first mover advantage by getting trained in 5G technologies.

Course Details

The End-to-End 5G Foundation programme is a 6-week online training programme consisting of 6 units. Its concise course design enables the learners to get started with 5G Technology early in the programme. The detailed learning path is as below:

  • Evaluate 5G access in light of the continuing evolution of fibre, cable, copper and Wi-Fi technologies
  • Articulate the fundamentals of the underlying technology and architecture of access and its impact on end-to-end 5G

  • Evaluate the limitations of core today and how it must adapt for the evolution of 5G
  • Analyse the technology concepts that make the core universal and adaptive
  • Examine the main functions the core will deliver as part of an end-to-end 5G solution
  • Depict how the universal adaptive core is evolving to address 5G enterprise, industrial and convergence needs

The platform facilitates ease of access through laptops and mobile devices for a rich experience. It can be accessed on the web through www.training.com.

There are as such no pre-requisites for enrolment to this programme.

The Learner will be eligible for 1 free attempt to appear in “Nokia Bell Labs End-to-End 5G Certification – Associate” exam conducted through Pearson View. On Successfully clearing the exam, the Learner will receive the Certificate from Nokia Bell Labs.
