'The 5th Indian Education Awards 2015' organized by Franchise India. The company won the coveted Best Vocational Institute for Banking, Finance & Insurance award for
NIIT Institute of Finance Banking & Insurance Training Ltd (IFBI). The prestigious
Best Innovative Learning Tool award was presented to
NIIT Nguru MathLab Plus.

The Indian Education Award is one of the most prestigious accolade that recognizes excellence in the education sector. The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony organised in New Delhi. The forum aims to recognize Achievers and Innovators, who have contributed significantly towards the excellence and growth of the education sector. The awards were presented by Pawan Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India & Ritu Marya, Editor-In-Chief, Franchise India and other leading dignitaries.

MathLab Plus is a breakthrough initiative by NIIT aimed to make the vital subject of mathematics simpler, easier and fun to learn for school students. A recent
NIIT MathLab Impact study, conducted by one of the big four research agencies in 184 schools across 11 states in India to understand the impact of the MathLab, showed that Class X students from MathLab using schools, perform distinctly better in Math at board exams than students not using MathLab. NIIT Nguru MathLab Plus has been successfully implemented in more than 1500 schools, with over 8000 teachers using the product to teach mathematics to more than 5 lakh students.
