I have received an award from ICICI Bank for going beyond the call of duty and have received many other bank contest certifications. The knowledge imparted through the training sessions gave me insights about banking, which a fresher joining a bank can never ever think of. Many software related entries which my branch seniors were not aware of, were taught to me at the Finacle training session that we got at IFBI. We enjoyed a lot during all the sessions as they all were interactive and we were always given a chance to share our opinion. All the faculty members were very helpful in providing their valuable guidance in each and every aspect of banking. Role plays helped me to fight the demons of stage fear that I had before joining IFBI. All the assignments and exams gave me enough knowledge about day to day banking practices. IFBI gave me a platform to enter into the banking sector and that too with a leading private sector bank in India. It gave me a great opportunity to join ICICI Bank as an Officer when I only had a bachelor's degree and all my other colleagues who joined as Officers were MBA's or at least had a Master's degree to their name. If you all are really serious in taking up banking as a career then IFBI is a great place to be in. I qualified in many contests and have also been deputed to other branches many a times by giving me the charge of BSDL. I don't have words to define those memorable moments which we have spent at IFBI. I just want to say that our performance today is a reflection of the guidance given by our faculty members. IFBI is a great platform to get a jump start into the banking industry. The role plays and activities which we did were really useful in our day to day professional life. During the course, we were taught communication skills, and how to enhance our personality. We were given a lot of interview tips. Mock interviews were conducted to help us get selected. I still remember our faculty members Tripathi sir & Devendra sir of IFBI Lucknow - who are idols in my life. They gave us a lot of knowledge. I would like to thank IFBI and my faculty members.

It is my pleasure to share my views about IFBI. I heard about IFBI in 2006 on CNBC TV18. Nov 2006, I joined IFBI. I learnt many things from Jagmohan Soni sir. From IFBI, I joined ICICI bank in Feb 2007. I have won many contests and have handled critical work like cash, demat, forex and wealth customers. In 2010, I moved up the ladder as Deputy Manager. I really thank IFBI and Jagmohan sir. IFBI has supported me at every point. I spent a great time with IFBI and learnt something valuable at every step. These lessons have been helping me till date to achieve a better future. IFBI made my life, it gave me a good platform to perform and I learnt a lot during the course.
I started my career with ICICI because of IFBI's help and they really gave me a new life. IFBI shows you the way but you, as an individual, have to undertake the journey. From day one, I stared learning things. I would say – "Nobody will teach you, but the intention to learn teaches us"
On the first day of my reporting at the branch, I was both excited and scared about the new environment, but the friendly and warm work place soon made me comfortable. With time, I learnt several things and as time passed THE job became MY JOB, ICICI became MY COMPANY. I really love my work, and I appreciate the support of my seniors at the workplace. Post the completion of my graduation, I joined IFBI. By God’s grace, I was placed in ICICI Bank at the Pathankot branch. I am very thankful to IFBI and ICICI Bank for the placement and career growth seen thereafter. With my successful stint at ICICI Bank Mukerian, I was told to take charge of the branch as Operation Manager. Right now, I am working with HDFC BANK as Deputy Manager and I am on the path towards further success in my career
The training period with IFBI was really a turning point in my life. I saw myself getting transformed and maturing because the guidance given to me by the IFBI faculty - who have tremendous banking experience. Today, I have completed AML & KYC certification and JAIIB without any difficulty just because of the education and training I had received from IFBI. The success story doesn't end here. I owe my success to IIM-C for providing me with greater insights into the subject. As an individual, if we can put the right ingredients together (facts and assumptions) then the accuracy of decision making becomes manifold and I think that is my biggest takeaway from IIM-C.
While assessing the program I wanted to be sure about the professors teaching the program. I found that the professors were very approachable and would clear all the doubts of the students. The program offers a complete essence of marketing and how different functions are attached to it. It gives an overview of sales and marketing function in various industries. The synchronous learning is quite effective versus the classroom teaching. I would recommend this program to all as I really liked the course content and the teaching methodology.
