Establishing NIIT’s endeavors towards EdTech, Rahul Patwardhan, CEO, NIIT Limited presented his views on ‘Developing Digital Workforce’ at the Times Group Digital India Summit 2016. The summit focused on achieving the goal of transforming India into a digitally empowered economy. It witnessed top corporate honchos engaging with policymakers on India’s progress in the digital space over the past one year, and targets for the coming year. Speaking on the occasion Pat said, “India has been experiencing an acute shortage of IP creators and with the launch of StackRoute, NIIT aims to train and transform bug fixers into IP generators”. Talking about Digital Transformation he further added, “NIIT with the launch of NIIT.tv, which is an online platform that provides more than 3000 courses to 200k learners for free, we ourselves are undergoing the digital transformation, in the process of digitally transforming India”
