ATLANTA, GA January 23, 2012 NIIT, a global managed training services company, announces that its client,Rush University, has been selected as aLearning! 100 top learning organization.  NIIT's Psychiatric Nursing Simulation Program for Rush University has been nominated by the editors of Elearning! Media Group for the Learning! 100 Awards. The work introduced innovations in nurse education through video simulation-based e-learning to train psychiatric nurses.

I'm really pleased that Learning 100 has chosen to recognize our project with Rush University with this nomination.  I think it's really appropriate, because the project is a great illustration of Learning 100's theme of driving performance through learning.  Our work allows Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to practice examine and treat patients with realistic disorders in challenging situations remotely, on their own laptop, enabling them to get the kind of experience that once before they could only get by seeing actual patients, saidDr. Gregg Collins, PhD, NIIT's Vice President of Worldwide Instructional Design.
