Leher Vijay Thadani

Ms. Leher Vijay Thadani has over fifteen years of work experience in diverse areas, including reputation management, crisis communications, public affairs, management consulting, and client servicing. Currently, Leher is working with the communications team at Google India. Prior to this, she was Vice President, Reputation at Edelman India, a leading global communications firm, developing integrated communications strategies and counseling clients on risk mitigation, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Leher’s previous work experience includes supporting Central and State-level government entities on trade and investment promotion, poverty reduction programs, design, implementation, and management of several schemes in the textile industry as part of Ernst & Young’s Business Advisory Service, and teaching mathematics in Baltimore, Maryland (USA).
Leher’s experience in public relations and communications spans a variety of sectors, including technology, food & beverage, energy, automotive, chemicals, and government. She had also conducted and published research studies on the public education system in India.
She was a Non-Executive Director of NIIT Limited from August 2021 to May 2023.
Leher completed her MBA in International Business and Finance from George Washington University (Washington, DC, USA) and BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA).
